I'm rather hard on my reading glasses. These things hold up extremely well. They do not not scratch very easily. The screws remained tight much longer than others that I have used. In fact no screws have loosened yet and I have found other pairs would have loose screws and the same amount of usage. The spring hinges are very sturdy and I require larger glasses and these fit very comfortably. My wife normally use a smaller glasses but they fit her fine. Warning these are not stainless frame as advertised instead plated metal that makes green oxidation stripes on the side of you head. The plating will begin to break down after a month. As the plating deteriorates from perspiration it exposes the metal below and this metal oxidizes on the side of your face. Photos submitted ... show more

Purchased these glasses after going to the largest store in town and checking them out. Looked at their choices and had purchased some from them previously but they would only last about a month and then the ears would get loose and then break off. Saw these on Amazon and decided to try them. So glad I did. They only cost about a dollar more for the three pair pack but they are so much better than the store brand. They have spring hinges where the ears connect to the glasses frame and allow to put them on and take them off easier. They are a higher quality frame than what you can by in local store. Will also help them last longer. Used to have some with the hinges but after cataract surgery and YAG laser and LASIK my prescription has completely changed and I no longer wanted to pay the high prices at vision centers when I only need glasses to read small writing and computers. Getting 3 pair for around ten bucks is a steal. Now I have reading glasses spread all over the house and just pick up a pair whenever I need to read something. Will probably get some more to keep in my camper and boat. At the price for them I can afford to put a pair in every room, vehicle and boat. Definitely recommend these to anyone needing reading glasses. ... show more

I purchased 3 pair of reading glasses 125 for driving and 3 pair of reading glasses 250 for reading. Two of the latter lost the nose guards so I'm using the last of the 3. I've had no similar problem with the driving glasses. This is not an unusual problem, but, I've found no way to find a replacement of nose guards. The kits available for repair do not have an appropriate fix. I do like these glasses. The frames seem to be well made with the exception of losing the guards. ... show more

I use these for regular glasses instead of prescription glasses. They work for me that way so no need to spend big money on an eye exam and professional ground glasses and an expensive frame. Sure, not much choice in design style, but i'm not that vane these days. The spring-loaded arm keep them from breaking. I frequently fall asleep with them on and if I do bend them; they don't mind being bent back into form without breaking. The plastic lenses get cleaned all the time and hold up well but after many months and 17 hours a day of use they do need replacing but at this price I can't complain one bit. Excellent value for the money. I hope this doesn't go to their head at the home office. Keep the price affordable and I'll keep buying them. :) ... show more

Just got these reading glasses today. Love them - they fit so much better than the drug store ones, the grocery store ones & dollar store. Slim face & they stay on my face. Very well made so far - haven't had them long enough to drop them but I'm just so excited that they fit so well. They didn't come with case but I have several cases so no problem there. And they come with a cleaning wipe which is an extra bonus (I never have enough of those). And to get 3 for the price of 1 is just outstanding! Thank you Amazon! Awesome job! ... show more

For about 10-bucks and metal frames I have no complaints with these out of the box… and it was a nice little box they were in so arriving in a larger box with a power saw was no problem. I’m about 6’3” and wear a size 7-1/2 hat and these fit fine. A few years ago, back in my 60’s, I wore a pair of reading glasses on a beaded chain because I was having trouble with the small print and then my sight seemed to improve and I didn’t need them anymore. Fast forward a few years and along came Glaucoma and cataracts so the fix for the cataracts required a lens by inserted in the eye and my choice was distant or close so I chose distant because we live on the high desert and seeing what’s up the road is more important than reading the ingredients in some food, I chose not to go the dangling glasses routine again because I was prone to catching them on things while working on the property so I’m stashing a pair wherever I may need one… like the garage, vehicles, shop and in front of my computer. This was a good purchase at the price I paid and they’re not much different than those I used to get at the dollar store but it didn’t require a 40-mile drive to find they’re likely no longer a buck each but now that I like them I see the price is over 12-bucks so I’ll keep looking or wait for a price drop. ... show more

I am very rough on readers -- I keep a pair hanging from the front of my shirt, at all times. When I lean across the boat or engine compartment of my truck, they get scratched up pretty fast. So, I toss 'em into the "Parts" bin, and grab another pair. The main reason that I like these readers is that they strike the perfect balance of features and price -- they have the spring-loaded temples, which makes them stay put on the magnetic clip-hanger on my shirt. They fit my face. They get the job done, and when I scratch them, they are cheap enough to just grab another pair. I have had a couple of them that lost the Nose Piece -- the tiny screw fell out. No big deal -- just grab another pair -- and, on a Rainy Day, I can replace the lost screw from the Parts Bin. It goes against my nature to consider something to be "Disposable" -- but that actually fits with our modern world. And, for this particular item, my rough-and-tumble lifestyle makes it a necessity. ... show more
