I don't know too much about reading glasses, but I liked what I got. I feel they are good quality. The magnification is not too strong, exactly what I needed and what the ophthalmologist told me to get. He said to get the cheap ones from the stores, but when I saw them here and liked the style, I preferred to get them here. I don't like to give five stars to a new item that I haven't used for a while, but I think these reading glasses deserve the highest review/stars. Really good glasses. Made out of plastic but have a nice finish to them. Only thing I wish is that they made these with Nose Pad and Pad Arms so they don’t fog up so easily.

Ok, so I am now of an age where I need to wear readers. Nobody told me it was going to be like this. Alas… So, my wife found these for me for Christmas last year, and I’ve bought four more so I can have them in every room. Love them. They are not perfect though. As the title of the review states, you’re going to spending an awful lot of time cleaning these crappy lenses. I have bought dozens of different brands of readers over the years, some of them dirt-cheap off-the-shelf drugstore clunkers, others more expensive frames which were custom made. But of all the frames I’ve owned, these Readerest glasses have the single worst lenses when it comes to cleaning. It is very difficult to clean the lenses, even using the best Japanese microfiber cleaning cloths out there. Any dirt and oil from your skin that makes it onto these lenses is going to wind up with you spending several minutes trying to remove it, not just once, not just twice, but more than likely four to five times a day or even more. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for your reading glasses. Save yourself the time and headaches of dealing with these subpar lenses. ... show more

This is the second pair of readers I have purchased from Readerest, and I love them!! :) Overall, the quality is excellent, and I will continue using this brand of readers. Would love to see a few more color selections, though (unless I missed some when ordering). Am getting ready to order a new replacement pair as this new pair fell out of my pocket unnoticed when I was getting in the truck, and my husband backed over them and they did not survive. :( (I was surprised, though, at how well they stood up to it! These glasses are comfortable and lightweight, and very stylish. I have tried twice to order the 'Pink' frame and each time I am sent the 'Floral Mist' color. Floral Mist is a nice color, but not what I ordered. However I am going to keep the Floral Mist this time, because I am discouraged, if I return them for 'Pink', I will probably receive the Floral Mist again. Not sure what the problem is, but if you don't have Pink just say so, and let me decide if I want a different color. ... show more
