Features

  • Blue Light Blocking - Blue light emitted by tech devices like laptop, TV, and smartphones can cause sore eyes & headaches and may cause fatigue, stress or eye strain. The Readerest eyewear is designed to protect your eyes and enable you to concentrate
  • UV Protection & Anti-Reflective Lens - Overexposure to UV light harms your eyes, so we use Ultra Violet protection in our lenses. The outer part of the lenses is not anti-reflective, so it controls the reflection of rays from the inside
  • Scratch Resistant - Your eyeglasses are always at risk of harmful scratching. Our lenses have a clear, scratch-resistant coating on the front & back, which creates a more professional shield protecting your glasses
  • Spring Hinges & Lightweight - Light frames are comfortable to wear and won't put any pressure on the temples and bridge of your nose, and their spring hinges won't bend over time
  • Fashionable - The thin reading glasses look great for women and men and perfectly match any of your outfits

  • Yeah, they work.
Color: Clear Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
I have a long day that always ends up in front of a computer. It's TRUE what they say about blue light affecting your brain. Even though I'd be tired when it came time to go to bed I would struggle going to sleep. Years ago I had heard that LED blue light was a sleep killer. It is. After just 2 or three night of wearing these I absolutely fall asleep quicker and sleep better. You can barely notice the difference when you wear these as far as colors on your monitor or tv. After a few seconds you can kinda feel a little easier about staring into the monitor. Windows has a night setting that dose kills much of the blue tone on the screen but the glasses seem to make it more comfortable le to watch. I had seen multiple pairs of blue blocking glasses that were priced at several pairs for 20 bucks or so. Made me reluctant. I've got one set of eyes and going cheap wasnt something I was willing to do. I'm real happy with these and they do work. Not a myth. Science! ... show more

  • 4.75 Stars. Beneficial. Stylish. Versatile.
Color: Clear Magnification Strength: 0.0 x
I've always been a firm believer that having an office job and sitting in front of a computer all day causes a greater number of health issues than we realize, and definitely more than we're told about. I mean let's face it at the very least, the human body is definitely not engineered to be stuck in front of a computer in a little cubicle all day. We are designed to be wanderers. We are built to be hunter-gatherers. We are engineered to be "movers". Now keeping that in mind consider your eyes. Our eyes are designed to support the those basic primal functions wandering, hunter-gathering, moving. They are built to be used to judge various distances see near see far see in different lighting all sorts of variety. So we take that wonderful adaptability and we sit two feet in front of a computer screen and stare at the same consistent lighting the same distance for years on end. If I were my eyes I'd be unhappy. Couple years ago I got a new computer for work and I was playing with some settings and it came across the night mode. I accidentally stumbled upon how to reduce the blue light being emitted from my but instantly felt like there was a benefit there and left it that way I left the night mode on all the time. I had no idea what blue light was at the time. Fast forward a couple years and I seen article about blue light and how the blue light wavelengths are more aggressive on your eyes buying something new why I like the night mode on my computer then. But there are other features of the night mode that weren't necessarily useful and could be kind of annoying during the day. Now there's a medical issue that has the potential of a secondary impact to my eyesight so I see an ophthalmologist at least twice a year. I've been blessed to avoid any negative impact to my eyesight in fact I have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes. I'm also close enough to 50 years old that I can supply paper copies of all my appliance warranties on demand, so I appreciate the value of still having vision of somebody who's much younger than I am and I want to protect that. My opthamologist recommended I'd look into blue blockers. So I started doing some research confirming that there is indeed science behind the reasoning and to better understand what's going to work for me. Let me search a mixed bag of feedback and experiences complaints of yellow lenses doubts and quality or if there's a sufficient amount of blue blocking to make a difference. I learned that blue locking can work the key is you need to have enough blue blocking to make a difference and with that you'll probably have some yellow tint to your lens if you don't then you're not getting sufficiently blocking. The benefit of thorough research and thorough product reviews, and a natural eye for style LOL, led me to this product. The percentage of blue blocking is definitely high enough to give your eyes some "Ahhhhs". Having a position strategic consulting role requiring frequent face-to-face interaction with external clients means professionalism in my appearance. These are perfect for me. They provide a sufficient level of blocking to create a relief that your eyes feel without a heavy yellow tint to the lens so you avoid looking like Bono. No offense to Bono but in a professional office environment wearing pseudo sunglasses is not always inappropriate choice. If you really look for it, you may be able to actually see some of the yellow tinting in the lenses, but again you have to really look it's not obvious. People don't look at you and see yellow glasses. So on my first attempt I found the right pair of glasses that provides beneficial strain relief to my eyes with a stylish professional aesthetic. There is opportunity to improve the anti-glare. At times the glad reminds me of lenses that you might have seen on television in the 1980s. The size is perfect for allowing them to maintain a minimal profile so people don't get distracted by your glasses when they look at you. The clean lines small size and clear lenses make them versatile with any outfit or occasion. These were the first pair that I tried and the only pair that I need. For five stars please improve the anti-glare ... show more

  • OMG!!
Color: Bourbon Tortoise Magnification Strength: 3.0 x
I bought the 3.0 and they are much better than the 3.5 I purchased several years ago. The 3.5 were in a pack of four and they were cheaper than the one pair of the Readerist 3.0's. Just goes to show you that you get what you pay for. Opt for the Readerist brand. I am going to buy another pair of Readerist so I have a backup. ... show more

  • Happy to find a +3.75
Color: Bourbon Tortoise Magnification Strength: 3.75 x
I bought these glasses because it is almost impossible to find a +3.75 lens. I had never tried blue light blocking. I needed these glasses to wear only when I take out my contacts. So they are not used for computer or reading close up. What I found is that these glasses are not really right for wearing just a regular glasses. When you look in a mirror wearing these glasses the lens reflects what is behind you and the lens are not clear but give off strange light refraction's. It appears that blue light blocking is becoming the norm of reading glasses these days. I would like to see more non blue light blocking glasses available from this manufacture. ... show more

I've purchased a few blue filter glasses in the past and they all seemed very blurry so I was pretty skeptical about these. They're perfect! I don't wear corrective lenses but when I wear these I get a lot of compliments.

  • comfortable on my head
Color: Clear Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
My prescription needs changed so I needed new readers for my hat-size-XL head, and better quality than the '5 for $20' types that seem popular. These looked like they would fit and be comfortable - very successful at both of those. I wasn't really looking for the blue light blocking...don't notice any benefit from that but it's ok. They do slightly but noticeably shift the colors you see looking through them, so if you were doing something in photos or fashion or painting, or anything like that, these would not be good. Would be nice if there were options for a smaller size and without the blue filter. Minus 1 star for the lack of options. ... show more

  • Fantastic fit
Color: Bourbon Tortoise Magnification Strength: 0.0 x
I usually have a hard time finding glass frames that fit me properly, especially those I purchase online. But these blue light glasse fit just perfect! It's so lightweight and comfortable, I'm really impressed. The frame arrived intact, not broken as some reviewers have mentioned, but I have yet to drop them so I can't tell you if it's resilient that way. I am also pleased that this company offers blue light glasses without any prescription lens. So many blue light glasses for sale out there are reading glasses. While I can't tell you if these glasses effectively block out blue light, I have noticed when looking through these lens, there is a very light tint but nothing as dark as sunglasses. I would have liked a glass case to come with these glasses but it's no biggie. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. ... show more
