Description

Sleek and beautiful, this 3.2 CU Foot Refrigerator is amazing! This fridge is perfect for a small office, dorm room, kitchen or playroom. The compressor cooling fridge will keep your drinks and food at a perfect temperature. With the built in freezer you can store your dinner, ice cream or other snacks! There is a door bracket to neatly store your drinks. Slide out shelving makes it easy to clean the inside of your fridge. This is a high quality fridge and freezer with a reversible door so you can fit this bar fridge in any spot. With built in temperature control and low energy consumption, this refrigerator is the ideal solution for anyone looking to cool and freeze! Temperature Controls: As this is a compact option, sadly, we do lose out on some of the bells and whistles that come with a large refrigerator. You can manually control the temperature, however, since there are no true separate compartments, you cannot set a temperature for the top side or lower side of this small unit. The “freezer” is considered a “chiller” as this is where the coldness originates from, so with the correct setting for the rest of the unit, the compartment is a “freezer” area. From the Manufacturer RCA's latest 3.2 Cubic Foot refrigerator is perfect for your college dorm room, bed room, office, and any place you need a compact fridge to keep your food and beverages cold. The fridge is CFC free and has a built in accurate adjustable thermostat so you can keep your food and drinks at the perfect temperature. The sleek tempered glass shelves look great, and are easy to clean. RCA's 3.2 cu. ft. fridge is compressor cooled, meaning it will perform well no matter what the outside and inside temperature is! Within the fridge there is a freezer compartment. The sides of the door sport a very convenient can dispenser and a 2 Liter bottle holder. With a space saving flush back design, the adjustable level feet and a clever reversible door allows you to open the fridge to the right or the left, so you can safely and conveniently place this fridge in any spot! If you are looking for a quality fridge at an affordable price, look no further, this RCA fridge made with decades of experience is one of the most popular on the market and will be perfect for your needs.

  • Good Product, So Far
I only have one complaint (which I have already registered with Amazon) about this product. I bought it because it had the RCA label on it, and it was the right size for the ready-made enclosure in my Mother-in-Law suite's kitchenette. When the product arrived, it looked exactly like its catalog picture, BUT...it clearly did NOT have the RCA label on it. It's an IGLOO fridge, which I had been avoiding, due to reviews I had consistently read about the IGLOO refrigerators. Amazon had already pulled this catalog item and evidently now has re-advertised it with the correct product information. I was promised a full refund, if the fridge did not perform well or had problems within the first 90 days of its use. That said, I love the fridge. I've been using it for six weeks, now, and have had no problems with it, whatsoever. I suspect that that will continue to be the case. If not, I do, at least, have my 90 days promise from Amazon. The fridge has a variable-cold control that works. At first I didn't have that set past the middle setting, and it wouldn't freeze ice. I bumped it up just under 3/4 of the control setting, and it will now freeze a single tray of ice, which is all I need. I suspect that turning it to the max setting would freeze two trays, but since the 3/4-setting also tends to freeze things like lettuce placed on the top refrigerator tray too close to the small freezer compartment, I haven't done that. Just having a single tray of ice gives me iced drinks twice a day, and I'm fine with that. The door compartments are made solidly and well. The wire holders are heavy duty and affixed strongly (they don't pull out or get pushed out easily). The canned drink tray works perfectly, and the other trays work well for condiments, butter, and smaller fridge items. The small vegie/meat drawer works great, as well. It will hold a packet of six small on-the-vine tomatoes plus some cheese or a packet of bratwurst, etc. The freezer holds a couple packs of bacon or sausages along with the ice tray. I also had a couple of small pork sirloin roasts in there one week. Everything was kept perfectly. The right top corner of the freezer door does tend to hang up a bit on frost, but a sharp rap to it every once in a while, while opening it, clears any frost that is in the way. It is NOT a frost-free unit, so I expected that (or more) to happen. It was no surprise, and in no way impedes my appreciation for the fridge. There is a small compressor noise when the fridge turns on. It doesn't run all the time, and when it does turn on, if you are in the same room or possibly in the next room (depending on your acoustics) you'll hear the click and then the compressor hum. To me, it's nothing bothersome, and is similar to what other, similar, larger refrigerators sound like. If the fridge is in your bedroom, you may have to get used to the light noise, but I would assume that would happen in just a short time. Overall, I love this fridge. I will be glad when I get through the next couple of months, but am assuming the product will continue to work and do just as it's expected to, since it has given me no hint that it might not. EDIT...I've just seen that these fridges are STILL being advertised as RCA brand--at least for some of the colors. Also, there are some non-branded pictures, and some IGLOO pictures. Please be aware, if you order this product, that you will get an IGLOO refrigerator. ... show more

  • Great little fridge
Great addition for our second floor. Keeps drinks cool and some fruit, too.

  • Not a bad little fridge
Not a bad little fridge. We were lucky to get one that was not banged up. It does hold a lot of stuff considering its size. It's been a year and the fridge works well but the freezer does not. I wish the fridge part was bigger and it had no freezer because nothing stays frozen in the freezer except for the ice buildup and we could use the extra fridge room. Next time I will get one without the freezer. ... show more

  • very useful and a fine product
My husband was on home infusion which involved keeping medication refrigerated after it was delivered. The refrigerator in my kitchen was okay,l but I wanted it to stay as sanitary as possible, plus our son and daughter-in-law come out once a year at least from Oregon and they sleep down the basement and stock up on things they like so it was a real help. My husband is doing fine so far after almost 3 weeks off his anti-biotics which we had to deliver to his heart for 12 weeks so it was a real help for us. The refrigerator was really cool as I used it and it made me very happy to have it available. I would buy again and recommend it also. I did not try the freezer section, and I may use the unit tomorrow when I clean out my standing freezer upstairs to at least keep anything I can't get in the upstairs refrig/freezer compartment. ... show more

  • FIRE HAZARD
We purchased this refrigerator on March 31, 2016. On May 19, 2016 we noticed a burn spot on the electrical cord. This refrigerator was plugged into a three prong, protected outlet. The electrical cord itself is faulty. We are 10 days outside of the Amazon return window, so we have no recourse. Obviously we cannot continue to use the refrigerator in our office. This appliance was used only in a business office, and there is no chance that this is anything but a mechanical failure. See photo. We also purchased another brand (Igloo) of small refrigerator for our downstairs office. That one is still working fine. It's very upsetting to lose this much money on an appliance that has worked for less than two months. EDIT: Tried contacting the manufacturer directly and got a delivery status failure on the official email address that is listed on the RCA website. I'm going to try using Amex to as a last resort. Just a really terrible product. ... show more

  • Good but could be better.
I bought this fridge for my 2 year old so he could independently prepare his breakfast and snacks. He is so excited that he can get food and drinks out of his fridge all by himself and whenever he wants. It certainly fits our needs. The outside has a very neat, low profile appearance (it disappears into the wall of our dinning room) and the glass shelves make the inside look roomy and clean. My only complaint, and it is a bit of a big one for us, is that the door doesn't close very easily, especially for a (now) 3 year old. My son is very conscience about closing his fridge but on many occasions I have found the door just an inch open because it doesn't really 'catch.' In hindsight, I wish I found a fridge that does not have the can holder in the door. This is a huge waste of space since we don't store cans in here. I wish it would convert to a juice box holder! ... show more

  • Bigger than I thought and quiet
It’s bigger than I had in my head and I’m glad. It will hold all I, as a single person, need. As you can see, several big shelves. It’s quiet! The only way I know that it’s running is to put my hand on it and feel a slight rumble. Otherwise, I can’t tell! Seriously. It arrived in perfect condition and was easy to setup and install. I got a rolling cart for it so it’s a bit off the ground. That will make it easier to access. Very satisfied! ... show more

  • Noisy Refrigerator
This refrigerator works well, but bought for bedroom for a sick person with meds that need refrigeration. This refrigerator makes loud noises 75% of the time.
