Really crap cable. Tiny 36 gauge core conductor. Shield is just stranded, doesn’t even look wrapped around the center conductor. You’re mostly paying for a rubber tube with a braided covering. I’d return mine, except I cut one of them to see what was inside. They’re in the trash now. Don’t waste your money. The representation of the twisted pairs is misleading and a lie. Nothing is twisted, the shielding is lousy, and the conductors minuscule. ... show more

I ordered a pair of these cables as I needed some RCAs to run my record player through my amp, and have everything outputting through my studio monitors. I had everything set up, and one pair of these cables was running from my pre-amp to my amp. Unfortunately, I got a pretty terrible hum/buzz at most volumes. I tried moving around the cables to see if any interference was occuring, but the only thing that fixed the hum was swapping out the two cables I bought with some generic RCAs I found in my garage. I guess you get what you pay for, as these were some of the cheapest RCA cables I could find on Amazon. Only buy these if you're planning on pairing the cables with budget hardware. ... show more

These are a good example of the old adage, "you get what you pay for". If you are connecting a cheap piece of equipment to a pair of low budget powered speakers, these will be just fine. But if you have a dedicated audiophile two channel system, do not buy these cables. Holly crap, these are the lowest quality rcas I have ever encountered. Not only can you hear the alternator whine through them, when the cars off the electrical system itself it providing feedback resulting in static. Save your money and buy a quality product . I always choose a product by its ratings, but sometimes you REALLY need to listen to the "Bad" ratings left by customers, if I did with these cables I would have saved the hassle I ran into. Basically, these cables are junk, noisy, cheap "Hum Machines". I was hooking up an old amp, turntable and speakers and thought the loud hum coming from the system was due to the "Vintage" equipment, NOT SO! It was these cheapo cables. As soon as I replaced them with some equally "vintage" RCA cables the loud hum disappeared. Just to check I re-installed these cables and, Hummmmmmm. As soon as I hooked my "Vintage" cables back up, go figure, NO HUM! Save yourselves the hassle, I am returning these good looking "Hum Machines" ASAP! ... show more

Finding decent cables that aren't outrageously expensive is hard, especially in this digital world. But these were a fantastic price. Seem fairly sturdy but very pliable.
