  • Decent quality, picks up noises
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
This microphone is good for amateur streamers or youtubers, you can place it on a boom arm with a suitable adaptor, and it has a good capture area. It only has a mute button and a volume control for the built-in audio output. However, the volume control doesn't control gain. Build quality is above average at most, standard Razer quality, but it gets the job done really good. It does pick up noises and it still requires a pop filter. Also you can't use it with every boom arm. I only managed to use it together with my arm screwed in, provided an adaptor. Not quite the best at price/quality, but not too overpriced either. ... show more

  • Nice and very versatile microphone
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
This is the second Seiren X I buy. The first was for myself as an entry level streamer and the second for my son. Setup is plug and play, no software or drivers are needed in Windows 10. It will show up both as a mic as well as speakers due to its built in sound card which you can use to monitor yourself when speaking into the mic. There’s a headphone jack located below the mic next to the USB port and 5/8 mounting hole. Sound quality is good and mounting options are plentiful. I love having the built in mute and sound level controls right on the mic for those times when you need to quickly mute the mic or turn down your headset (if plugged to mic) I’ve used the mic on both PC and Mac and on each it works perfectly without need for adjustments. Streamlabs OBS which I use works perfectly with it. Below is a photo of my setup to highlight the attachment to my microphone arm. As long as your mic arm has a 5/8 threaded mount, the Seiren X will screw in easily. ... show more

  • Great mic. Just get yourself a pop filter or windscreen, it makes a huge difference
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
Pros: -Easy set up. Nice to know this mic doesn't require Razer's software to work -Small, compatible with most mic arms -don't let the size of the mic fool you, the sound quality is fairly decent -I compared the audio quality with a Blue Yeti USB Multi-Pattern Electret Condenser and they're IDENTICAL! The only difference is that you can select more than one polar pattern with the Yeti. The Seiren X has only supercardiod Cons: -You can adjust this via 3rd party software, but this mic picks up EVERYTHING. If you have a mechanical keyboard, you might want to invest in Cherry Silent switches -there is no gain control or options to select more polar patterns other than cardiod -despite being advertised as having a "built-in shock mount"..... I suggest you get a shock mount. This thing picks up everything, including micro-vibrations from your desk (if your Seiren X is on the desk) -not exactly compatible with most boom arms -the stand that this thing stands on doesn't allow you to angle the mic far enough to be pointing at your voice (if placed on the desk -for a mic that seems to pick up EVERYTHING (even little sounds in the background), you have to sort of be close to the mic to get your voice's details and tone, weird Suggestions: To maximize this product's worth, I'd highly suggest suggest investing in some pop filters. -metal base adapter to make it compatible with most microphone arms can be challenging to screw on. Also, if you use this on PC, using Nvidia Broadcast or OBS's noise canceling features would be helpful. Even though this mic is advertised as "supercardiod", it's a very sensitive mic. It picks up everything. Conclusion: This is a great mic if you just want to plug it in to your platform of choice and go. There is no adjust knob for gain but straight out of the box, the audio is fairly decent. Slightly muddy sounding. Compared to my HyperX Quadcast S, the audio quality for the Seiren X is competent (not great, but not bad either). If you're looking for an upgrade from a headphone mic, this is sufficient. But if you can spend a few more dollars, I would do it. ... show more

  • Works for what I need, conference calling on Mac/PC
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
This is a no frills mic. Everyone has complimented on how clear and loud my audio is over WebEx, Zoom and other conference apps… the only complaint I would have is the default audio cable, although in a 90 degree angle would only wrap a certain way and wished it were usb c end to end but that is easily fixed with a micro usb to usb c cable so an extra expense but nothing show stopping. No software to worry about just plug and play on either Mac or PC. I got this during Black Friday sale so it sweetened the deal even more. Still would be worth it regular priced but since it is an older model this would be discounted. ... show more

  • Razer Seiren X review from a 3 year user.
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
I have been using the Razer Seiren X for 3 years now, in terms of quality, it is a great microphone. It comes with a durable stand and assembly. But, thats about where the good stuff ends. The quality of the microphone detiorates over time, every time you pull the mini-usb out of the microphone, it damages the port more and more and eventually the microphone begins to reconnect several times in a matter of seconds whenever you touch the cable, and not only all this, whenever this microphone reconnects it lags your computer. God forbid if your playing a game it can even cause a crash. Overall, a good mic for the first year, but after that it is just hell. I do not recommend this microphone if you are planning to use it for a long period of time. ... show more

  • not the greatest out of the box but once adjusted, very good. read if you hear helicopter noises
Size: Microphone Color: Classic Black
The media could not be loaded. really love this mic where i've gotten two so far. it looks super nice and while it is plug n play, you can make this thing sound really nice with other software and a bit of configuration. HOWEVER, DO READ THIS IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING A MIC ARM FOR THIS. okay so if you plan on attaching this to a mic arm, there is this weird helicopter sound when done so. not sure why it happens or what causes it, but there is an easy fix to this. i was frustrated for so long until i found how easy it was to fix. you will need to disassemble the bottom by removing the sticker and unscrewing it. then there is a large hollow part inside. just stuff a plastic bag inside and it should fix it. put it back together and put it on a mic arm and you're good to go. ... show more
