Was sceptical at first because I have never purchased a "renewed" product from amazon. But after the unboxing and using it for about 2 weeks, I can say with confidence that this is one of the best purchases I have made. The laptop came in the original razer packaging and after inspecting it, I came to the conclusion that the laptop had to be either brand new or a new return because it was in perfect condition with no marks or anything and even the original stickers on the laptop from the factory. It performs like a beast in all games, the 240 Hz display is amazing to use. The only downside with the display is the brightness doesn't get very bright, but definetely bright enough to not bother me. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a high end, premium gaming laptop at a great discounted price. ... show more

    • Exceeded my expectations
I was hesitant to purchase this renewed laptop, but, considering the cost savings I decided to give it a go. No looking back at this time. I have been using this laptop for roughly 3-months now. This laptop is a high performance machine! It can handle anything I through at it. I use it for VR gaming with my Oculus Rift S. I run Aspire v9 CAD/CAM for my CNC machine projects, Quicken for my financial SW. I installed Office 365, VMware Workstation 16 Pro for virtualization. It runs Surveillance Station from Synology and I can scrub through surveillance videos with ease. The 4K UHD touch screen is beautiful work of art and the performance and viewing capabilities are hypnotic. I bumped up the memory to 32GB to run my VMs and this laptop screams while running MacOS in a VM while crunching away in WIN 10 Home with everything else. The only flaw with this laptop that I could find was that the CAPS LED does not work. No big deal as far as I am concerned. I saved $1200.00 buying this laptop instead of purchasing one new. The CPU and GPU performance meet and exceed my expectations. The NVME SSD system complements the CPU & GPU. I purchased FD Extreme - 1TB Portable NVMe SSD - Thunderbolt 3 external disk as the default drive to install my Oculus games and the TB3 interface on this laptop is topnotch and a serious performer under all conditions. This external SSD has => performance compared to the MB NVME. I have been working on PCs & Laptops since 1982 when IBM released it's first desktop PC. I spent two decades building WS, laptop and NW servers for fortune 500 businesses. Let's not forget the high end gaming WS with water cooling that cost several thousand $$$$$, so I know technology and how to build high performance systems base on the end-users needs. With that being said I give my stamp of approval on this renewed system. The Razer laptop product line speaks for itself. Razer laptops are works of art. If you can afford one, buy it. You won't be disappointed. Sorry no speeds and feeds review. You can look up the specs if you need them :0 As far as battery life is concerned well, look under the hood... if you want something with better battery life this is not the laptop for you.. If you want something with great CPU and GPU performance that has plenty of I/O ports and memory expansion, then look no more. Fast WIFI chipset but know Ethernet port. No big deal, there are plenty of USB 3.X and C dongles to choose from these days. Enjoy :) ... show more

    • Touchpad not working, otherwise working great.
Touch pad does not work which is disappointing since it's supposedly tested and functional before making available for purchase. I replaced the battery after reading online that bloated and swollen batteries could potentially be the issue due to being old and battery life possibly supported that claim although after battery swap touchpad still not functioning. You can press and click it, but no response to click on Windows screen. Did other diagnosis and still no current solution. Regardless, I'm not a huge fan of touchpads to begin with so I end up just using a wireless Razer mouse to use the laptop but it just is a bit disappointing that I can not be completely reliant on the base functionality of the laptop. I guess that's what I get for buying refurbished. Otherwise, no other issues (knock on wood) with performance and gaming on this laptop. ... show more

    • Nearly Perfect for a Renewed Product!
Aside from out of Box Driver issues, the Laptop runs beautifully, and my Girlfriend loves her new Laptop, got this model specifically for the 4K OLED touch screen! Only Real issue, which comes with the gamble of Renewed products is the Left Cosmetic Speaker grill was missing on arrival, apart from that slight puzzling surprise, the Laptop was definitely an Amazing Birthday Gift for my GF! ... show more
