  • Does the job
This is the first binding machine I’ve purchased or used. I used the instructions from YouTube instead of the pamphlet that came with the machine. I found that when I cinch the coil it cinches tighter up near the lever while the other end of the coil remains slightly loose. I ended up adjusting the bar so that one end is lower than the other. ... show more

  • I like this binding machine but it doesn’t cinch evenly
I kind of feel like I got a defective one, but I’m not sure. I emailed them but didn’t get much help. No matter what I do I can’t get it to cinch evenly. I feel like the little bar that presses down is bent. It looks like it’s bent. But I’m not sure, maybe I’m doing something wrong.

  • Excellent, easy, & economical binding option for home office!
Size: TD-130
This is a great entry-level binding machine! I wanted to create more professional-looking directories than the usual cheap plastic comb binding, so I searched for a spiral or double-loop wire binding option. This machine does both but is best for the wire loop binding - which I decided on because spiral binding requires a special crimper tool that costs $10-15 extra. It came with twenty 7.9mm binding wires, ten plastic 8mm (inner dia.) spiral coils, and a complete extra set of padded feet & screws. The blue cover is moderately thick plastic, which seems kinda cheap but it works just fine. I used 28# paper, 10 mil clear plastic, and 16 mil PVC covers. It can punch holes easily through 2 plastic covers or 6 sheets of 28# paper at a time (or 10 pages of common 20# paper). There are 3 settings for distance from the spine edge, which need to be set correctly to avoid the paper edges binding up with the book open 180 degrees or more. The side dial sets the wire loop crimping based on the width of the wire binding. It effectively maintains the adjustment settings without slippage. The instructions are not great, but once you figure it out, it's a smooth, easy process to make professional wire-bound books. If you're not sure of the wire binding diameter or can't calculate the conversion between metric and imperial measurements, there are easy to read size references on the top. I am completely satisfied with my purchase, and would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs to make 200 or fewer professional wire-bound books at a time. ... show more

  • Does what it's supposed to
Size: TD-130
Overall this binder does what I need it to do. It's a good product for the price. I said I did not get any wire bindings and they got right back to me. Good customer service! My only gripe is the instructions are very small and hard to read. I recommend watching the video. (also, the handle is underneath the machine when unpacking). ... show more

  • Comparison of some with similar price range
Size: TD-130
I’m comparing spiralizers because I’ve been in search of a good one for a while and it can be confusing because some of them appear the same. The only purpose of use for me was binding notebooks or school workbooks. TD-132 This has a straight handle which forces you to angle your hand sideways which is not comfortable. I also didn’t care for the noise when pulling handle down to punch holes. $115 TD-1202 I ordered the Rayson TD-1202 and the angle of the handle was comfortable and smooth when punching holes. I had both of these side by side and the TD-1202 is a much more sturdy spiralizer. $112 Pro Click I have also previously purchased the Pro Click but that was way too noisy and it would occasionally get stuck when trying to pull lever back and forth. Punching 6 pages as indicated required more effort than expected. It hole punched 3 pages at a time best. $99 Cinch (square punches) This has a pull down lever but to do a letter size sheet required a 2 step process changing the dials as the paper was moved. This seems good for those into card making and other paper crafting. It wasn’t for me. $106-120 ... show more

  • Great binding machine and simple to use
Size: TD-130
I was looking for a binding machine to make booklets at my work. Turned out everyone loved it and I ended up making over 200 booklets. The district management loved it so much they had all the local stores order one to make the same booklets for every store.

  • Great Binding Machine
Size: TD-130
It is definitely a great investment. I liked that this gives the option for coil and wire binding. Great customer service as well.
