I purchased this to make simple books and to restore older books. It takes a bit of time to heat fully, but it works easily and efficiently. One note, when assembling make sure to install the front panel with the bend underneath where the screw holes are. If you install it above on top of the screw holes it will not tighten and will interfere with the slide. The instructions do state that, but it was not entirely clear for me. This is easy to use and not difficult to put together. I love that is doesn't break the bank and I am able to have options for book binding. To date I have only used it a few times with page counts up to 97-110. Will maybe try some bigger books in the future.
