This cart is sturdy and holds a lot of weight. Purchased for scuba diving and carrying gear (tanks, wetsuits, boots, etc) to and from the car. It held up really well. The wheels are larger but plastic... haven't tried it on sand/gravel but did well on rougher pavement. It folds up easily, has directions on how. You do have to squeeze it together a bit harder to get it strapped/folded back. It isn't the smallest when folded; comes with cover. Isn't super lightweight but it's manageable. Very sturdy, and big enough to hold several of our big camping chairs (the ones with flip up tables). Love the cup holders and pockets. The bungee cords really do come in handy when it's overflowing with cargo. Perfect for hauling the family's cargo to little league games or the beach. Very easy to set up. Wheels are nice and wide, don't seem to have trouble going over soft dirt & gravel. Haven't tried on sand yet but I suspect it will work just fine. Folds up very easy, with the exception of the velcro strap that wraps around it; it's about an inch or two too short so you really have to kind of squeeze it down to get the strap started, then after that you can just cinch it up with the strap and it folds nice and small. But that's a very minor "issue." 1 or 2 of the wheels do tend to come off really easily going into/out of the trunk of my car because the buttons are apparently too easy to push. This cart is decent for rough surface or grass but moving fully loaded through sand requires strength. After the first day noticed rust on the metal tubing. This indicates low cost metals were used. Aluminum would make this a 5-star product. The pulling handle design made me cautious of breaking because it is plastic. The canvas material is durable and strong. This is an extremely heavy duty, well made cart. People should know it very heavy for an over 50 yr old to lift in and out of the car or truck. It is 3’ long and 18” wide and 18” deep. The wheels a big and chunky. It will take up a good amount of space in the trunk when it’s folded up. It will definately hold a LOT of items. A child could nap in it. Seriously. It’s pretty cool but if just need something to haul around for sports snacks, blankets, etc. A much smaller one will suffice. A coach however, may want this one! ... show more

Do not purchase for the beach!! It will not go over sand you will be carrying it instead of it assisting you. I had knee surgery and thought this would be great, I was highly disappointed when it is advertised for sand. Otherwise the cart would be excellent for everything else. We go to a horse event where you haul a day-worth of family items up a long asphalt/gravel road or along a long gravel path with either option beginning in the dirt parking lot. We had a cooler loaded with ice and Gatorade for the team, two XL folding chairs, two bleacher seats, a bag of costumes, a bag of snacks, and a smaller drink cooler for just our family unit, and while I still had to climb the hill, the deep sides of the wagon and the big tires made it a LOT easier in terms of not worrying that things were falling out as I trudged. The handle is just the right length and maneuverability and the wagon didn’t clip me on the heels like I got on our last wagon with a shorter handle. It is easy to pack up (just cinch that strap around it down tight) and when open, I just throw the cover bag under the flat panel in the bottom of the wagon.
