  • Excellent!
The cart arrived promptly on the date given. It was well packaged. It was heavy, though, and due to its size, a bit a jawed for one person to handle. All the parts were there, too, and easy to inventory them. The step-by-step instructions coincide with the numbered packaged parts made assembly a breeze. The parts are well made, and all work properly. Add to this the fact that it rolls easily and the handle swivels easily, this is one big, strong cart. Its size allowed me to maneuver 600 pounds of concrete into a tight space and close to the job site in one trip all by myself. ... show more

  • Fantastic- but handle cap not mentioned in instructions!
For ease of assembly, I give Gorilla Carts 5 stars. It takes me less than 30 minutes top put them together. It goes really fast with the right tools. I use two socket sets. This cart has one nut that is bigger than my sockets. For that I used an adjustable ratcheting wrench. The cart weighs almost as much as I do and I am a 66 y/o female. This is my third Gorilla Cart in less than a month.I bought the GOR800-COM first. It is quite small but I use it for my hydraulic pump that runs a hydraulic chute.Next I bought the GOR1201B which is probably the best all around size. This cart is a lot bigger than the ones we've seen in years past.It is stable, but heavy. It pulls easily on flat ground. Be aware that it is really heavy trying to maneuver it while in the box. ****There is a black plastic cap that should be on the end of the handle. Mine fell off during shipping. At first glance, I thought is was for shipping purposes- to protect the end of the handle- nope! I checked the Gorilla site and watched their assembly video. Low and behold- you could see the cap, but no particular attention paid to it in the video and nothing about it in the manual. It is very rigid plastic ( or something that feels like plastic). It seems to be there to protect the handle from wiggling from side to side in the yoke. One review mentioned a bad weld on the handle. It could be that this cap was meant to alleviate the problem. As most people have said, this is a brute with a million possibilities. It is much larger than what I was used to and the extra large wheels are great. I do hope Gorilla Carts will offer no-flat tires in the future. I have assembled my share of garden wagons. They always took a lot of time and were frustrating. The hardware comes in a numbered blister pack making it so simple to put together. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more. ... show more

  • Can’t beat it
Wow. This thing is amazing. Assembling it took me 10 minutes because the instructions are super clear, everything was very well labeled, and the parts are well organized. My complaint about assembly is how they don’t tell you what size wrench / socket you’ll need. The instructions say you just need an adjustable, and that is technically true, but I prefer assembling everything with a proper wrench or socket to make sure it’s secure. I found when assembling it that it takes 7/8” for the bolts that attach the rear axle to the frame. It takes 11/16” for the bolts that attach the handle support to the front axle. It takes 1/2” for the latches for the sides (if you want to tighten, not needed for assembly). And then I have no idea what it takes for the pivot bolt attaching the front axle to the frame because I didn’t have a socket or wrench that big; handy channel-locks did the trick there. Once assembled this cart is a beast. Very well designed and over engineered so I have no doubt it will last a long time and be able to take anything I dish out to it. Some of the bolts holding it together are the same size as my full size trucks lug nuts for crying out loud. The adjustability of the handle make it easy to pull with your handle or attach to the back of a riding mower, 4 wheeler, or golf cart. Just a simple cotter pin removal and you’re able to flip the handle around. The sides fee very secure one latched in place but it only takes 30 seconds to detach all of them or reattach them. All in all, you can’t go wrong with this Gorilla Cart. **Update: 3 Years in** You still can’t go wrong. This thing takes a lickin and keeps on kickin. Used it this weekend hauling 20x 50lbs of concrete and 6x6 posts across the top of the sides while building a deck. I’m constantly impressed how it hasn’t showed any signs of abuse or wear and tear even though it lives a tough life outside all the time not even under cover. ... show more

  • Heavy duty
Seems heavy duty, easy to assemble, although it requires some larger size wrenches for its oversized nuts. I use it to move around a paddle boat. It has a nice large flat deck that is low to the ground, makes loading the boat easy. No complaints.

  • It's a hoss!
If you're looking for a light weight cart that you can casually pull around, this isn't it. But if you want a work horse that will do work and hold a LOT, this will do it. But keep in mind - it's heavy. We use this cart on a forested piece of land that needs constant fire control clearing so it carries brush, branches, small trees, generators, dogs, and anything else that might climb on. For our use, we attach it to a four-wheeler and easily pull it even after it's fully loaded. To pull it by hand, you have to pair down the load appropriately for your physical ability because this cart is not light weight. The tires roll easily over our forested terrain. If you're pulling it manually, the cart will move easily once you get it going. But again, it's not for the faint of heart. You can fold the sides down to use it as a flat bed but we've not yet used it in this manner. I think that feature would be handy if you were doing things such as carrying large bags of feed or potting soil. This cart seems to be well built and was easy to put together. That being said, the instructions were only "meh" so if you are not mechanically inclined, you might have to take a step back, look at the parts around you and logic your way through the build. We built it quickly and without any issue. ... show more
