I read the reviews & the positive feedback was the deciding factor on these brakes. I had to replace my 4Runner front brakes as I noticed longer braking from a distance & having some vibration at a complete stop. Upon further inspection the brakes on the driver side had a broken retainer clip barely holding on & causing the loose play when coming to a stop. The original brakes were almost at the end of their life as some of the brake pads had gaps in them starting to desenagrate with lots of brake dust on the brake caliper. I assume these are are organic brakes pads that produce alot of brake dust replaced by my auto mechanic two years ago. I wanted to replace my brakes with ceramic pads since they are more durable, have more stopping power, & produce less brake dust. These are cheaper than buying from a retail store & glad they came with replacement brake retainer clips & clips to hold in the brake rods, because my broke & would have to go buy them at the auto parts store. I did the replacement myself, you can learn from YouTube videos if you need help & the tools needed. Overall I am very pleased of the quality & value of the these brake pads & saved me money from having to go to a auto mechanic. ... show more

So far nothing about these brake pads do I dislike. When I was a kid Raybestos was top notch one of the best American Companies who made replacement parts. I do not know where they make things now, but I do know they still offer a decent product. For the price, these ceramic pads are awesome for our 4Runner. The pads that were on it was not original and had been replaced at some point. They created a really terrible amount of brake dust. I could wash the 4Runner, drive it 2 or 3 times and would have to rewash the wheels and that crap was hard to get off. Since changing the rear pads about a month ago, I have not had to wash the wheels once! Unreal! How much difference these pads mad. They have excellent stopping power, so I am impressed with them so far! I hope they'll last at least 2 years, and I am hoping longer! ... show more

These have great pedal feel and provide excellent stopping power. Have an older sequioa that lacks in stopping power these made it stop much better. I notice low dust and no issues with noise or rotors. Great pads will use again. Came quick with prime.

These brakes did exceed my expectations! I love the hybrid tech with the smoothness and low dust of ceramic and the bite of semi-metallic. It's a little early to see how long they'll last, but the build quality is superb. From what I see, they will last a long time. I only gave a 4 star because there is some noise that's inherent with semi-metallic brakes. This is not user error, as I installed these correctly. I cleaned the calipers, used high temp silicone grease on the slide pins, and the backing plates. The included shims were good quality, but a little hard to fit the pads in. Had to bend them a little. Maybe was crushed a little during shipping? All in all, a quality pad at an awesome price. ... show more

One of the anti rattle plates didn’t fit. It was laying loose in the bottom of the box. The tabs weren’t bent correctly. The hardware included is very thin and not identical to oem. I decided to reuse my old original ones.
