    • Have purchased three, each one faded quicker than the one before it.

Pros: "Short stop" style cap (forehead curves back) fits my head nicely. Not a flat front "trucker" style. Patriotic while being a bit subdued. Not a stretchy fitted cap. Good price. Cons: Dye does not hold up to my sweat and each one has been worse than the one before it. The last one began to fade and discolor within three weeks of daily at work wear. My first one went months before I noticed the grey fading to a sort of purple. Gentle washing doesn't seem to help. Notes: I have a shaved head so protection is a must in the sun or in the cold. I wear a hat most of the time at work unless I am exclusively indoors and not in a maintenance room with equipment that presents a hazard to my scalp. I have bought three of these hats over the last two years. The first lasted the longest. The second one made it about 7 months. This latest one was showing signs of wear within weeks. It may be that there was some QA issue or a bad production run? I will probably keep buying them until I find something I like better unless the quality continues to fall. ... show more
