Almost everything that's not rechargeable these days, comes requiring a battery not included. Not this one! Not only are there batteries in it already, so it's ready to use(after removing the paper blocking the battery from running down), but it has a 4 pack of spare batteries in the box! Awesome customer care! 👏 I tested it on some bolts, washers & nuts. It worked like a charm. There is a magnet at both ends, so if you don't need the flashlight (for behind something) you can use the other end as well. It telescopes out in the same way as the older model car radio antennas did (as mine still does😂). The end has a section which is bendable/shapeable, so it can reach around something. That section is strong enough to hold it's shape while I pulled the handle of a broom back to me from behind the freezer. *My only negative about the entire thing is that the magnet does not work around the sides of the light(at the end), only on the face of the light(a small section shaped like a washer is the magnet🧲 around the light itself). It would be extremely helpful if the sides of the light were also magnetic for an area of about a quarter inch up from the light end. This thing is great - for anyone! I (a female…) use it to look under car seats, the sofa, etc. The telescoping feature is so helpful. I appreciate the review from the person who said it was great for locating and picking up pins & needles - the bane of my existence when I have time to sew or do needlework - why didn’t I think of that? The light is plenty bright, and the magnet is the perfect strength for picking things up - not too strong, not too weak. So glad I found it. ... show more

I wasnt expecting it to be a good quality but to my surprise it was! My boyfriend is a plumber and the headlamps he uses runs out of battery so fast! Its not too heavy, good sleek design makes it easy to slip in the pocket.

This is a really useful magnetic light - the magnet is a ring around the light - so when you're trying to pick something up - you can see it! I love the light. It is telescoping - so you lengthens as you need. A terrific gift - or tool for the tool drawer! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever.
