This toaster is exactly what I was looking for. I love the matte black look with the very simple white lettering. Pros: - It toasts with a variety of different levels of toastedness - the overall look is awesome - handy lever to help lift the toast once it’s ready Cons: - doesn’t toast evenly on both sides of the bread - has a strange burning plastic smell sometimes Overall, the cons don’t make me want to get rid of it. I don't like a lot of extras on an appliance. All that happens is they don't work. This toaster, on the other hand, is simple. You put the bread in and it toasts, perfectly. And it looks great on my countertop. Love it.
