This small multi-purpose digging tool is great in small spaces, raised beds, & campgrounds. It is an absolutely awesome weeding tool & a great metal- detecting shovel, too! Shorter than the root Slayer nomadic, including the patented natural radius O-handle grip, the root Slayer mini-digger is a fantastic traveling tool as well as a garden essential. The blade is the same as we use for the root Slayer nomadic, so you can rely on its sharp edges & strength without ever worrying about bending. The shaft is lightweight super- durable pultruded fiberglass.

This is one of the best tools I’ve purchased. I am 73 years old and do a lot of gardening, not just putting the plants in the soil. It is light weight, sharp, breaks up roots, and narrow enough to get into tight spots. I would give it ten stars if I could.

This shovel makes the impossible completely attainable. It cuts through hard-packed clay, matted roots, and will dig around rocks. Digging out old shrubs, over run brambles, or digging new holes for planting is a snap. As an edging tool, it is irreplaceable. It’s worth every penny. It works wonders!

This shovel is the best we've found for digging out tough weeds and breaking compacted and rooted soil. The round handle is easy to hold on to. Plenty long enough, with total length about 45? inches. The serrated blade with inverted V slices through the soil with ease. The step on the blade allows for full weight bearing if needed. It is lightweight, yet very sturdy. I’m not a very (anymore) strong person, the ground in my yard is full of stones, roots and hence it’s not easy to plant anything….I struggled with regular shovels.
