  • My 3yo loves it
Style: 24 Volt, Ages 3-8 Color: Red
We got this for my toddler for Christmas last year (he had just turned 3yo Nov 30th for reference) he absolutely loves this thing he’s able to drive it very well even at the highest speed setting which goes pretty fast you will not be able to catch it even if running they most likely won’t be able to hear you either if to far ahead so it’s important your child knows road safety/rules or lock the speed to where max speed (3) can’t be reached. My child knows to stop at any stop sign or road crossing to wait for me to cross, he knows to be alert an if a car is coming move to the side & get as close to the grass then stop for the car to pass & me to catch up, he knows to always ask before going to speed 3 (highest speed) since he rides mainly in the large parking area in front of our apartment so when he asks to put it on 3 we can go to one of the 3 parking areas that have a few or no parked cars since 3 speed setting has the most drifting capabilities an the go kart is a little harder to control at top speed (you can absolutely drift on 2-medium speed setting just not as intense as 3) as soon as he sits in the go kart he is to put the seatbelt on(he’ll mimic me when I was teaching him & say “Safety First” when buckling) even if he is on 1- slowest speed setting, the only rule he needs to be reminded of at almost every ride is when he is in 1st,2nd, an especially 3rd “gear” to always watch where he’s going “keep his eyes on the road” (when he’s racing his friends that are on bikes he likes to look behind him while driving to see how far behind they are which can be dangerous especially when going max speed) and when he shifts his gear to R(reverse) to back up that he is to look behind him so he can see where he’s going of course the rest of the safety rules are pretty much second nature to him as he’s done them all since he first drove it an I only had to tell/show him the other rules once so he caught on to them pretty quickly & the rule of watching where he’s driving he’s catching on (I know it’s just a kids natural curiosity to observe their surroundings)I also made sure to explain the dangers that could happen to him if he didn’t follow “our safety rules” in a way he could understand & that is age appropriate! I also don’t let any of the neighborhood kids drive it unless I know the child/child’s parents & their parent/s say yes an are outside to watch their kid drive, My 3yo says they can(since it’s his I/kid always ask his permission if they can drive it first then we proceed with their parents, etc), an it depends on the child (which is why I prefer to know the child) if they’re capable of understanding the safety rules & following the directions I give, we also do a safety check before the first ride of the day making sure bolts are tightened properly, the pedal is free of debris or any object, etc. something I noticed that gave me peace of mind when he’s driving is having something where I can catch up to him quickly even when he’s going max speed a few months ago I purchased an electric scooter that can go faster than his max speed so if I need to catch up to him quickly it’s totally not necessary as long as the child knows & follows the rules you’ve laid out for their safety it just lowers my anxiety knowing I can get to him quickly no matter what speed he’s going! the reason for me explaining all this is because I wish someone had done it for me when I first purchased it so I knew exactly everything to expect (for example I read the details/description of the go kart an I knew it was capable of going fast but I wasn’t prepared for exactly how fast it would go at max speed until I visually saw it in 3rd “gear”) my 3yo is rough little boy & so far the go karts held up amazingly the quality is awesome it’s very sturdy so much so I have even drove it a couple of times (I’m 5’1 100lbs for reference ) it works on regular roads, sidewalks, grass(although this surface drains battery faster as well as it doesn’t go as fast as it would on a hard flat surface) those are all the surfaces we’ve tried currently. I says it’s absolutely worth the price an I highly recommend for all those adventure seeking, thrill loving toddler/kids! Imo the battery life is awesome it’s never completely drained the battery to where it wouldn’t go anymore since we got it just remember when outside if your child gets off to do something else always turn it off (there’s a power switch location on the back of go kart) until their ready ride again an when done riding for the day turn it off & put it on the charger until fully charged all an all it’s an awesome electric go kart my toddler had other electric “power wheels” standard vehicles 6v,12v but he’d get bored with them quickly as most he/I could walk faster than they’d go he also has older siblings that have hoverboards, electric scooters, etc an none of his 6v or 12v vehicles could keep up with them but at 24v, 3speed settings, this go kart definitely does it all keeps his attention & allows him to keep up with his older siblings it’s been 5months and this is still his go to over all his other powered vehicles and non powered vehicles like his bike or kick scooter the only con I have is I wish the wheels weren’t made of plastic and/or they had other wheel options you could buy to replace the plastic ones if you wanted to other than that I have no complaints nor does my 3yo! We’re Definitely satisfied and happy with our purchase thus far ... show more

  • EZ assembly + fast + good battery life + looks cool + prime delivery = BUY THIS
Style: 24 Volt w/ Two Seats, Ages 3-8 Color: Red
The media could not be loaded. Purchased Nov. 2024 for my 4 y.o. daughter. Have had it for a week and have used the kart 3 times so far without any issue. Get the two seater! Marginally more expensive but so much more fun for friends and cousins to visit. THE GOOD 1. I am not a handy man, but this assembly took me no more than 80 minutes without any annoyance or confusion and without any specialized tools. 2. Great battery life (>45 minutes). 3. Battery life indicator light is really helpful. 4. Good drifting ability. 5. We have only gone up to speed 2 (out of 3) and boy is it FAST. My daughter actually said no to going faster because second speed is plenty for her. Kicks the crud out of those battery cars you get from toy stores. 6. Nice to be able to control the speed by adjusting a set screw in the throttle. 7. Easy to access the battery compartment and disconnect the power to the battery directly. This will be good for long term storage without use to protect the battery life. THE BAD 1. Absolutely no suspension, so I'm wary of the longevity of the parts over time. Also, this makes for a heck of a bumpy ride. 2. The tires are plastic, and on asphalt roads after 3 uses I'm already concerned about the potential degradation of the tires. 3. No lights or reflectors of any kind, so if you're using it on a road safety is a concern. 4. No way to What I'm most excited about is that, with the more aggressive speed options, I genuinely think my kid will keep using this for at least a few years. I remember getting the "monster truck" one when I was a kid and after 4 or 5, you age out pretty fast because it's so boringly slow. ... show more

  • Kid is obsessed with racing this kart
Style: 24 Volt, Ages 3-8 Color: Red
This is a great kart that is fun for kids of many ages. Our 3 year old got it for Christmas but even his 10 year old cousin loves to drive it. It goes fast enough to keep them happy and is fun for doing donuts and drifting. The only thing I don't like, which has been mentioned by many other folks, is the low quality of the tires. They get banged up very easily and are generally just not great. But other than that it is a great sturdy little kart that is fun for the kids and was pretty easy to put together. ... show more

  • A terrible product that you should avoid
Style: 24 Volt, Ages 3-8 Color: Red
You know its going to be bad when the shifter is broken upon arrival. This is not due to the carrier. It is due to very poor packaging. Simply making the shifter a part of the assembly process could avoid this issue as the shifter just sticks out in the wind, waiting for a loose item in the package to rip it off(which it did). The rear axle is slightly too long. This means that one of the wheels will not be in solid contact with the drive mechanisim at all times. The washers are slotted to fit on the slotted threads. However, you can't simply add another washer because the gap is beyond the slotted theads and on the main rod. This means there will be shredding of the dimpled wheel that inserts into the drive mechanisim. Or, the drive mechanisim will get loaded and unloaded(because of slippage) causing premature failure. The offset is about 1/4 inch too much. The charger does not have a regulator. That is, you have to monitor it to ensure you do not overcharge. This charger is a relic from a chineese warehouse that dug it out from a dusty box somewhere back in 1990. For a few dollars more, a proper charger could have been provided and battery issues may have been lessened. Every peice of plastic is second grade. Not even no name karts looks this bad. Lay it down, get scratched. I feel like a chump because I bought one for each of my 3 kids for Christmas and I'm pretty sure they will all break. ... show more
