  • Well worth it!
I wish I would've taken before and after photos... tbh I wasn't expecting it to work nearly this well. My German shepherd Caesar's ears looked worse than any picture on here. After 2 applications, 2 days apart, his ears are completely clear. He was scratching and crying everytime he would scratch his ears or you would touch them. I did end up buying a liquid medicine syringe from Amazon to apply because he was so scared and touchy about his ears I knew I needed to get it in there quick before he moved his head. So I got the syringe with the long tube that I could get right by the hole in his ear and squirt it in quickly. Then he would tip his head down anyway and with the rubbing and massaging it in it coated the entire inside of the ear. So it worked very well. If I had one suggestion for the company it would be to charge an extra $3 or $4 and include an applicator. Us customers just want our pets happy as easy as possible. A few more dollars wouldn't have made me look elsewhere if I could trust that this product would work and work easily. Which it does. Buy this if your pet has ear issues. Mine were ear mites with a slight infection. Cleared it all up completely within a week. Even after a $120 vet visit for antibiotics and a thick cream that was impossible to apply. As far as other uses, I didn't try anything else. But it worked wonderfully for ear problems. ... show more

  • It is strong medicine that worked very well for me, but precautions need to be taken, please read
It worked really well. Three applicatiions three days apart. I got this because, when cleaning my dog's ears, black scab looking stuff covered the qtip. Now, nothing! Do be aware that this is a strong a very strong poisen and precautions need to be taken. I only used it outdoors, with latex gloves on and protected my eyes, nose and mouth, because when your dog has had enough and shakes it out of her head, it goes everywhere! Its also important to, after putting the liquid into your dogs ear, massage it in there for as long as possible, and not to forget to tilt your dogs head so it goes all the way to the eardrum by the center of the head, as the dog's ear canal is in a J shape. It's important to clean the dogs ears and let them dry. I waited a day to let them dry and used a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water. PLEASE NOTE: if your dog's ears are foul smelling or are already wet or moist before you clean them, it is likely not mites but an infection. You don't want to use this on a dog with infected ears, as your dogs eardrum may have ruptured and who knows what damage you can do if these chemicals get into the inner ear ... show more

  • Works great, very thin consistency, bottle is unusable for application
This product works extremely well and will kill ear mites quickly. I have used it for years, with nearly every new cat that has been dumped at our home. That being said, there are a few things to keep in mind. It's thin like water, and the bottle tip lets it flow out too quickly. It's hard to control when applying, and it flies everywhere as soon as your pet is able to shake it's head. From experience, it helps to put it in a slow drip squeeze bottle to help control the flow. Also, if your pet has open sores from scratching, it burns. No matter how many treatments I've done, or how prepared I am, I eventually get injured. Overall, if you are treating multiple pets on a budget, this is the ear mite treatment to get. It's strong and it works. (My first bottle arrived damaged/spilled out in the shipping bag. A replacement was sent, and arrived with no issues) ... show more

  • Leaking all over inside the package
I have read this in another review.. and I have to say the same thing.. You really need to add a seal on it so it's not leaking.

  • Watch for leakage, otherwise an effective treatment.
My latest order came in with product leaking and short on product. Replacement did the same. Manufacturer needs to add foil seal like on almost all other products. Glad there were no food items in order. Otherwise works good on pet's ears.

  • works well
I've used this product for years. I see than some users have reported problems, but I have never had any and it works. Be sure to use according to instructions, and I am careful to wipe any excess off the animals face and ears. They will lick to clean off the excess, so make sure the product stays IN the ear. Update 2019 - still using this product. I find that the liquid base is easier to get into the ear canal compared to cream types. Some helpful tips I’ve learned: Warm the bottle slightly by putting it in a cup of hot water for several minutes before using. Saturate a cotton ball with the liquid and press the cotton ball into the ear. Don’t worry, it won’t go so far in that you can’t get it out. Massage the ear with the cotton ball in place. The liquid will gradually be pushed out of the cotton ball and into the ear canal. The cotton ball will pick up dirt and wax as you massage. DON’T let the liquid get into the cats mouth or eyes. That’s what causes the cat to foam at the mouth, which several users have mentioned. Use the product every 3-4 days until mites are completely eradicated. The product will not kill the eggs. You will have to apply several times, maybe more depending on severity of infection, to kill every generation. ... show more
