  • great deal for the price
Size: 2 Pairs Color: 7A
These sticks are good for the price. They have a great sound when doing head to rim after beats when playing country and western songs. Grain seems good, so time will tell how they hold up.

  • These are professional quality drumsticks. Be wary of any review that states otherwise.
Size: 3 Pairs Color: 5B
I’ve read lots of reviews for the various Quigbeats drumsticks by people who flippantly claim they’re “not professional quality.” The questions I have for anyone making such claims: - are you a “professional” drummer? As in, do you make money playing drums either in the studio or playing live gigs? - do you have proper technique when playing drums, which will maximize your drumstick’s life? - are you able to quickly and easily call out the anatomy of a drumstick? As in, the type of tip, taper, shaft, fulcrum point, weight, and butt? - do you even know what the characteristics of a “professional” drumstick are, and what sets a professional drumstick apart from a non-professional drumstick? If you can’t confidently answer these questions with a resounding “yes,” you have no business saying these are not professional quality sticks. You can say you don’t like the way the sticks feel. I have no issue with that. But anyone who says these sticks are not professional is an ignoramus. Because they are 100% professional. I’ll update this review when I have more time, but my initial thoughts of the Quigbeats 5B’s: - they are good quality. Remind me of the Zildjian 5B with a more “forward” taper. - the wood is quality. Has a similar feel to the woods Zildjian and Promark use. Not quite as firm as Vic Firth’s wood choices, but I personally like lighter wood because it moves around the kit more effortlessly. It is NOT crap wood like the $20 12-pack maple stick nonsense that’s scattered all over Amazon. Unless you’re playing on an electronic kit, those sticks are junk. These sticks are hickory, and will hold up if you have good technique. ... show more

  • Good and sturdy sticks in size 5B
Size: 3 Pairs Color: 5B
Outstandingly sturdy, with great balance and great tone delivery to the heads. I’m a pretty heavy-handed player, and these sticks go the distance.

  • good set of sticks
Size: 2 Pairs Color: 5A
These are a good set of drum sticks. I've used them to practice in the basement and play on buckets. Also a good value set so I don't feel bad if I let the kids bang around on them if they were to break one.

  • makes me feel like i’m holding nothing
they’re so thin and light that i feel like they’re just an extension of my fingers and i’m playing the drum set with my fingers
