The manual tells how to operate the 3 buttons. It does not say if the heat is on or off based on the blue light on or off. I don’t need anti-fog heat in my situation so I hope the default is off.

Very bright! Don't know what other people are talking about! Mirror is very clear; that was surprising. Mounting was easy also as well as power. REVISED 5.22 - Light eventually dimmed to the point of not being useable. Good thing to return.

I love the function, look, and especially the anti fog heat setting. I use it as a night light and to do my morning and evening routine. Also brought my bathroom into current times. Definitely recommend this mirror. It was easy to install as well.

A bathroom mirror that is just functional as it is attractive. I really like the wider shape this possesses. I wasn't expecting that. I am so used to our old mirror and it being vertically longer. The lights are nie and bright and you can see very well.
