im male but i wanted something that could be trusted for women too (especially since its water-based, without parabens, and no glycerin). there is no scent and it glides sooo smoothly! I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I had it. You don’t need very much to be satisfied— and you can refresh it by adding a little water. Clean-up is really easy and you don’t have to take a bath/shower after (if you don’t want to). It did not irritate my urethra either, which is always a plus!
