I'm a 125lb female and was able to get it put together solo in less than an hour (mainly because I was exhausted from a 2 hour disassembly of the old frame). The instructions confused me at first with numbers/letters matching up but was able to figure it out. If you just look at the final assembled bed, you can easily map it out and goes quick. We love the frame for the cost it’s great and serves its purpose especially the storage in the back of the headboard. if we ever move the pieces can go right back in the headboard! The instructions were weird for the fact that pieces are labeled with letters but the instructions the pieces are numbered? It made it take a little longer but we figured it out. Also the boards that lay down for the mattress are not sized correctly but we made it work by trimming one of them down. ... show more

The bed looks good in person. The assembly is easy and can be assembled by one person. All pieces fit inside the headboard for easy moving. The fabric looks durable and doesn’t snag easily. The padding however is super minimal. I don’t know how it will hold up as primary bed but definitely recommend for secondary/occasional use in guest room. Less than $130 at time of purchase! This bed frame is great. So far, so good. No box spring is needed, which gives it a clean look and keeps it low, so it's easy to get in and out of bed. The design is elegant and luxurious, without the price tag. It's really wonderful. It kind of reminds me of Ikea in that the design is simple and yet looks very attractive. I tend to move a lot and this bed frame appealed to me because it allows me to do away with boxsprings entirely. This is just as comfortable as boxsprings when used with my 10" memory foam mattress. The lower height of the bed makes it possible to sit on the edge of the bed with feet on the ground unlike my tall boxspring bed. The frame is easy enough to assemble and set up. The components seem sturdy and high quality and I really like the gray fabric headboard. It's a nice neutral shade that would fit with many kinds of furnishings and decor.
