I really like this headboard, but was disappointed that it arrived with a big, ugly, black stain right in the middle front side of the off-white colored fabric of the headboard. Thankfully, with some stain remover and scrubbing, I was able to remove that stain. However, there was a second sticky blue stain caused by blue tape from the packaging on another side piece that I was not able to remove. Again, thankfully, that one is in a spot that isn't obviously noticeable, but it's a shame that it was so carelessly packaged that the piece was ruined. As for the look and function of the headboard, it was fairly straightforward to assemble and is very sturdy. It's supported by nine points on the floor as well as straps underneath where the mattress sits, which is much better than the frame I had previously. It looks very nice with the headboard, sideboards, and footboard all matching. It's a great value for the money! ... show more

Love this bed. The box arrived in good shape. Everything fits into the back of the headboard, so while it was heavy (I could move it myself but it's best for 2 people), there was no signs of damage to the contents. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The bed is assembled in 8 steps. One odd thing: There were 2 packages of bolts and tools. One was the plastic sealed blister-pack, and the other was a loose bag. It seems like there weren't enough bolts in the blister-pack so they needed the bag, but I came away with many extra parts. One person can put this together (ours is a king), but a second set of hands will help stabilize the parts as you put them together. Some of the bolts come pre-installed, which is helpful because any time you think "Which direction does this fit", the bolts are pre-installed so there's only one way it fits. Start to finish of a slow assembly (I wasn't rushing) was under 2 hours, including unboxing. No tools necessary. We got the beige. It's very elegant and looks super nice. The bed is comfortable and very stabile. We did contact the seller over an issue we had. Our mattress (Tempurpedic) can be used on a slat bed if the slats are 3" wide and less than 4" apart. These slats are 3" wide and 5" apart. The mattress sits on it fine and doesn't bulge through the slats, but I was curious if there were other slats we could buy. The seller got back to me right away with apologies. The slats are the slats. We got the beige. The color is very nice, sort of champaigne-y and the fabric is soft to the touch without and doesn't seem to have an obvious nap direction. Thrilled with this bed. ... show more

This bed frame looks really nice, and it was simple enough to put together. My only complaint is that once it's assembled, you can't scoot it around easily. If you try to lift or move it, the middle sections come apart, so you have to remove the mattress to adjust it.
