This bed looks as pictured. However, once assembled the frame is really unstable. The legs supporting the headboard tilt to an angle with any movement, including just lying down on the bed. The frame was assembled per manufacture instructions with the hardware provided. We bought this for my 11 year old child so we need something sturdy. The product looks as it does in the picture with accurate measurements. The assembly took around 3 hours. Was very small print on directions and hard to follow. It looks good and works well but annoying to put together. Although it says it doesn't need a box spring, if you want your mattress to sit up higher you will need one. The Amazon basics brand twin size box spring works amazing with this bed for anyone looking to get a box spring for it. ... show more
