We bought this frame to replace one that was extremely squeaky, which is problematic for a married couple with children who want to be discrete about their private time. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and recommended using a drill to tighten all of the bolts; I'm not sure if not doing so would have made a difference, but I suspect that it would not be nearly as quiet if I hadn't. Two months later and we haven't had to tighten any bolts, nor has there been any increase in noise. There is ample space underneath for storage. The only thing that I would change about it if I could is for the seller to include grips for the legs; on our hardwood floor, the bed slid easily. We just got some rubber grips to attach under the legs, and that problem was solved. Not enough of a problem to warrant the loss of a star (maybe half a star if that were an option). ... show more

So this was easy to put together, and because I got the 14" high frame I was able to not have to use my box spring. and have desperately needed storage under my bed now. Missing parts and the tools to use to put it together. Obviously sold before and returned. And there's no way to contact the vendor to send me the missing parts!! :( Now I have to pack this heavy monster up and take it back to UPS!!!!

My husband and I bought a new bedframe and within the first night of "extracurricular activities" the slats broke. We contacted the company we purchased from and they offered to replace the slats but they were the exact same pressed board material that was sent and we didn't want to deal with the need of being careful so our bed wouldn't cave in, we also didn't want to deal with the cutting and measuring of making our own slats, so we opted to try this frame out instead. We assembled it and just put it inside our already existing bedframe. It fits perfectly and looks great. One of the side pieces was bent upward so we had to bend it back into shape to be able to put the bolt in. For this reason I dinged a star cuz it was difficult to bend back. The instructions were a little difficult to understand as the picture wasn't very clear and I'm blind as a bat but once I figured out what was going on it was a breeze. The frame feels extremely sturdy and like it will last. There's no creaky sounds when laying on it or the feeling of it's going to break when all of us are laying on it, we have 2 hefty great danes that share the bed with us so that probably contributed to the original slats breaking😂 overall it's nice and comfortable. We did end up using our box spring for extra support since the mattress is right at the edge of the frame and we didn't want it sliding around. Our son has a frame just like this that we tried using without the box spring and his mattress slid around on it so we had to put the box spring on to prevent his mattress from slipping. Does what it's advertised to do it's sturdy once assembled the only down side is there is nothing to keep the mattress from sliding around and off the end of the frame but other then that it wasn't to hard to put together I did it in about a hour by myself instructions was easy enough to read and follow ... show more
