This is very easy to put together, and very sturdy with no squeaks. I bought the 16", which leaves lots of room for storage underneath. There is one design flaw, though, which is that the supporting legs are not recessed, and it's easy to stub your toes, particularly on that middle piece. I would look for a different style next time. This metal bed took maybe 10 minutes to assemble, offers ample space underneath for big storage tubs, and is fool-proof. No concerns about stability or quality. I wish we had purchased this one to begin with - it is far cheaper than similar style beds that are available in wood, and we were unable to return the other wooden bed (from another vendor) despite spending hundreds and receiving a subpar product. Hugely disappointed in the other product, but I definitely recommend this metal one and will buy another one in the future. Great for kids and seems very sturdy. I only wish it came in more colors as I would love a white one in a different bedroom. ... show more
