I've been using this product for years. It's marketed for treating cold sores, but I use it everyday. In my routine, it replaces Vaseline-brand lip balm. (It's not a stick like Chapstick; it's more liquid; I apply it with my finger, or you could use a Q-tip.)

This is the best remedy I’ve found for a cold sore by far. It is so nourishing and amazing feeling. It looks and feels like a lush glossy lip balm. Not sticky. I think the propolis and the calendula must do the trick. I ordered this when I felt the beginning bumps of a cluster of cold sores on my bottom lip. It came the next day and as soon as I started applying it the swelling went down. THEN continued application skipped the entire disgusting blister/scabby phase.
