I'm a AV tech, and got this to replace my old portable PA. I love audio and usually pretty picky about sound. This works great for events such as bday party's, small functions, etc. It is capable of loud sound, has decent bass, but is not so much of surround sounding audio. It has a few settings for audio eq, pop/jazz/rock/etc. It comes with a wireless mic, not the greatest but definitely works good. I have a higher end mic that works nicely and further away no feedback. The speaker is very cool looking and has lights that change with beats/ vocals, and you can turn off separately if you don't wish to see. Also comes with a mini remote, always handy. It has 2 additional mic/ guitar inputs, and a stereo mini input. I was kinda bummed it doesn't have any audio outputs, but it is portable take anywhere set up a party fun. Good price, and it's Pyle! Good line of audio components come from them. I really haven't had any issues, have used with a guitar and mic, just haven't tried the recording part yet!? Extra bonus of this item.. listen to the music you make or karaoke night that was fun. I'll be using this for a Boy scout derby race event this month! ... show more

Totally in love with this machine. Looked for one with decent watts and this one fits the bill. Also love the fact that it has radio and PA abilities and extended battery life if not plugged into a wall outlet and bluetooth to play songs right from a cell phone. I traveled to several outlet stores looking at various machines, but none compared in price and quality features to this Pyle machine. Also was delivered in record time to my doorstep. Super impressed by using Amazon as well. As a side note,,,, I purchased this karaoke machine for my friend when her own very small karaoke machine stopped working. My friend is homeless and I saw the happiness she obtains from singing along to songs. It makes her happy to sing and people have been helping her monetarily as a result, by understanding her plight of needing to generate an income. The microphone seemed a bit tricky to catch my voice, as I am not used to singing in a mic, but she does just fine with the mic. I searched all over the web for several different types of speakers. Most of my coworkers have the ion gameday speaker. Its ok but i wanted something different and better. Then i came across this pyle speaker. I checked all the reviews and was cinvinced that this was the speaker for me. I was amazed when i recieved it. And at my job we r alowed to use speakers like this, thats the main reason i bought it. Well now at work most of my coworkers allow me to use my speaker instead of them using theirs. Its much louder than the ion game day. And some of my coworkers ask if they can use my speaker, like when i go on breaks lol. The only thing that i do not like about it is that it does not have a battery life indicator. So either i keep it plugged and charging or when i dont, it just shuts off when the battery is dead. It does have a great battery life. I used it for two days at work with out charging it. On the third day it died about half way thru my shift , good thing i had the charging cord. And i love the fact that it came with a remote control and a wireless microphone! Very happy with this speaker, and i am glad to tell whoever ask that i ordered it on amazon. ... show more

Awesome Bluetooth speaker. Sound quality is amazing. Also offers radio stations. Speaker is light weight, easy to carry with roller wheels & has LED lights. Remote didn’t work (even after replacing battery).

    • Pyle of junk - cheap build, tinny sound.
We use them on singing telegrams. The included worst microphone ever. You can’t use it as it’s coverage pattern is only a two inches from your mouth. If you speak up it comes off as an explosion of sound. It pops, sounds tinny and echoey. If you try to use te included mic you will be thoroughly embarrassed and eventually discard it - it’s awful and you can actually yell over the box more effectively. Now the speaker itself self isn’t bad. We paired it with a decent Hotec wireless microphone from Hotec handheld microphone and the difference was phenomenal. The unit itself loud enough for a small backyard party or a nursing home gig but it didn’t kick out the jams at all. Don’t expect to use it for a block party. We’ve had two different units from Pyle. The first couldn’t take a charge. And the microphones were junk. The second one had the crummy microphone. I’ve determined Pyle makes bottom of the barrel stuff and I’m sure. The design looks robust but it’s not. If you need something that rechargeable and sounds great you’ll need get an Oon for the same price. Got this to use as a PA system for a wedding and intended to keep it afterwards as a bluetooth speaker for music. Overall disappointed with the product in both applications. Pros: The amount of features is nice - FM/Mic/Bluetooth Lights look good and give off the party vibe Very loud at max level Stylish design Cons: Included microphone is really bad. Have to almost be touching the mic with the mouth for it to pick up any sound, very inconsistent with the sound going in and out. There is a level of constant static whenever ANY sound is coming through the speaker. Whether it's using just the mic or streaming bluetooth at lower volumes, it's always noticeable. High music volume masks it, but if you want to have music low enough to have a conversation, you'll probably hear it. Might be a design flaw, since static gets worse when the top of the unit (on the left side,where the control knobs are) is touched with a finger. ... show more

    • Portable and loud for the money
We love doing karaoke when we have a party so this fit the bill. The mic is not very good so I recommend buying a pair of wireless. It’s very loud and could be used in small venues and outdoor spaces easily just using the battery. We love it.
