First and foremost, I by no means am a professional golfer. I upgraded from a cobra offset driver that I'd been using for the past 10 years. I wasn't able to get the ball passed 230 to 250 yd with this driver. I had a wicked slice back in the day when I started golfing, I was afraid of picking up non-offset driver. I heard from a couple friends that pxg is the brand to go for, I was not disappointed with this driver at all! Right out of the bag, this driver is beautiful and feels premium. I took it to the driving range right away and noticed that I was getting great shots of this driver, I noticed most of my drives we're averaging 15 to 20 yd longer than my previous driver. I’m starting to fill my bag with PXG extremely. So far I have a putter and driver. Best looking clubs out there in my opinion. This driver is very lightweight and has a giant sweet spot. I’m definitely hitting longer than I was. Just need to get fitted and practice more to get it straightened out. The head cover is amazing. Best head cover I’ve ever used. PXG knows how to make head covers. Easy on and off. And a magnet to hold it to your cart. The grip is okay but I’ll probably change it. I like a bigger grip. For the money(289$) this hits as good as any 600$ driver. This does not come with a tool to change the weights. That does kinda suck. ... show more

Item Description: $200 driver for golfing Pros: feels comfortable to use. Gives a newbie like me a HUGE learning curve for hitting a golf ball happy gilmore style. Great for beginners. I would not have spent $200 on a new club if it weren't for gift cards from family. However, my hand-me-down inherited golf clubs are going on 75 years old. I am glad I purchased this club. It really stepped up my game. I'm now playing as well as guys who have played for years & years. Cons: none. Suggestions to manufacture: explain the different types of clubs better. I had no idea what 9, 10.5 or 12 degrees refers to. If this is an entry level driver... give newcomers some easier explanations. I'm not a pro. Would I buy again or as a gift? Yes... i would buy for my family member who plays golf for their school. Did I receive anything for this review? NO! I paid full price for this item. ... show more

I could never hit my regular flex driver. I am a casual golfer, never been fitted for clubs and never had lessons. I just go with friends to have fun. I have always just bought clubs off the shelf which usually comes as regular flex. I have always had issues with my oversized drivers because of my club speed. I did not know this until someone pointed it out to me and let me try their stiff flex Ping driver. I crushed it straight down the fairway. Because of only being a casual golfer that doesn't go every weekend I did not want to spend an arm and a leg on a high priced Driver. I found this PXG on sale during Prime days and decided to give it a shot. I have only been to the driving range a few times so far but I am hitting it very straight off the tee.
