  • Well written
My son loved this book and has now shared it with his brother.

  • Good for parents and kids
Simple to read and understand but also informational. Something even my 13 year old son can read for himself but I can benefit from a parent.

  • Exceeded my hopes!
I was cautiously optimistic about this book. I excpected my son and I to read this book together while he complained that it bored him to tears. The very first night we read he stopped mid-paragraph to ask questions and discuss what we had read. I was thrilled! He was open and talking - something I don't get very often. I felt like he was beginning to believe that he wasn't the only kid around dealing with this same struggle. This book is a great tool. I believe that it highlights strategies for change. What I find most helpful is that reading the material means that it is coming from another source other than Mom/Dad. This seems to make it easier to accept and discuss. He seems more willing to try things out that have been suggested in the book. ... show more

  • Knowing you're not Alone!
This is a good book for someone who has been recently diagnosed and it's maybe unaware of various therapies, laws, assistance, medications, and how important family support is. All of the above combine a unique path of existence for the person with the diagnosis and how to live with and navigate their lives having the diagnosis of ADD/ADHD. ... show more

  • She was very happy when she got it
My daughter-n-law requested this book for Christmas. She was very happy when she got it. She is a psychologist and her main goal is to help children. I feel if she wanted it then it must be an awesome book for any parent.

  • Great to help out your ADHD child
This was just what I needed for my ADHD daughter. We read it with her. It has helped her and us get a better grasp on what we need to do. I love how this is made to read to your child.
