Update!! I have owned this steamer for almost FIVE years now. I use it regularly, and it still works as well today as the day I bought it. I use tap water, and we have somewhat hard water. I would not hesitate to buy this product again!!! My notes below are still applicable!! It still stays "up", holds several garments without collapsing. This is a great steamer - my third purchase of a full sized steamer. This one heats quickly, works efficiently and effectively, doesn't tend to burn me. Easy to use. Uses up all the water I pour in if I use it long enough. I am exceptionally happy with this purchase - easy to assemble as well, but will take about 10 minutes of your time. UPDATE: Three years later, this steamer is still going strong. Best steamer I have ever owned. I use it weekly. Easy to fill, easy to clean. I hang several garments to dry, and it does not collapse. I am so happy with this garment steamer. It is simple to use, heats up so fast that you don't waste time and just relaxes the wrinkles out of fabric. The hanger makes it easy to work and is flexible in height. Tall or short people can find a comfortable level that works for any individual. I just love the wheels, the compact size and the ability to wheel this anywhere while I work. It freed me from the laundry room and speeds up the process. It is easy to fill the water chamber and the steam lasts a long time before the next water addition. This steamer is also very kind to fabric and I believe it will make clothes last longer due to avoiding making creases that regular irons make. The same clothes I have been pressing, look better after they are steamed instead. I look more like I send everything out to the dry cleaners, when I actually saved the cost of dry cleaning (which will pay for the machine after a few uses). I like the way they included four levels of heat for all kinds of fabric. Because the base is small and the height is adjustable, this is also very easy to store in a closet, taking up very little space. It's all good. ... show more

    • Godd steamer but I have an issue with the stream head
I owned this steamer for several years and it works well. I only use distilled water, as I ruined two previous steamers due to calcium build up from tap water. My issue with this steamer is the steam head. I iron t-shirts, shorts, jeans, etc... from the inside out, so the notch that holds the accessories snags on the clothes. I had to remove it using a Dremel tool. The notch on my previous two steamers was set lower, instead of on the top edge of the steam head, so it was not an issue. This is not a critical issue as it is manageable, but it is annoying. ... show more

My old trusted Rowenta dinosaur steam station finally died out on us, and we were looking for a budget friendly alternative. This steamer was very easy to assemble and use. It’s so much gentler on clothes than a traditional iron and gets most wrinkles out fairly well. It works awesome on soft cottons, like tees. It even worked on my work uniform. For me, it’s a bulk issue. Not sure how I’ll be storing it, will most likely need to make room in the closet since it’s upright. Also, it’s a matter of habit; getting used to no longer “pressing” your clothes by pushing downwards, sweeping horizontally vs. “steaming” clothes looking at eye level, standing and sweeping vertically. Just strange making the switch this way. It’s a nice unit overall. The first unit delivered had missing parts, but the replacement was great. The height is adjustable. It rolls but the wheels are just functional at best. I’d definitely recommend it. Not sure if I’d use it exclusively to replace a traditional iron/ steam station. Sometime it’s nice to get crisp creases in fabrics.. this wouldn’t do that. ... show more

    • Was not using that much and just stop working
Used this a few times a month. Now it turns on but does not heat. When it did work it heated up fairly quickly and easier to use then a hand held type. But when you were ready to use it you had to test it on a towel first because it had the tendency to spit out water at first basically making any garment you are steaming not ready to wear as you had to wait for it to dry because of all the water spillage ... show more

It seems to be very well made. Very EASY and quick assembly. Don't let the compact size sway you. Sometimes grand things come in small packages. Instruction manual is well written and informative to handle most questions. I am a complete novice, I have never used a garment steamer before now. I had this unboxed, put together, water tank filled and a pair of cotton pants steamed and wrinkle free all within 10 minutes. After using it for several items, I have decided the only feature I would like added would be a steam shut off. Something that keeps the machine and water warm without the constant steam. As I am going from one item to the next I have to move the hose somewhere safe so I do not get burnt to change to the next item on the clothing rack. I have to shut it off and back on between items and wait for warm up again. One minute is not a lot to wait typically but when you have a pile of clothes you want to get done this can add a good bit of time. In conclusion, yes I am happy with the purchase and yes I would recommend this garment steamer to others. ... show more
