PuroAir HEPA 14 2-pack of model 240 We purchased these air purifiers to minimize food odors from cooking. We don't have a vent over our stove that is vented to the outside so the odors accumulate in the house. We're cooking at home a lot more now so this had become a daily problem for us. The odors would penetrate throughout our three bedroom home and even out to our garage. We started to dread cooking or not cook some of our favorite healthy foods because of the odors. We place the two air purifiers in or near the kitchen and run them on high during and after cooking smelly food. They quickly eliminate the food odors. We are thrilled with the results. We also intend to start using the purifiers throughout the day and night to remove allergy irritants throughout the house. That will be easy because the units are so small and light that they're easy to move around the house. The small round black cylinders are not unattractive and they somewhat just blend into the background. (I do wish they were available in white, though.) The settings are located on top of the units to make turning on and off and changing settings easy. Even when we are running both units on high the noise from them is not distracting. The soft fan sound is actually soothing. We really aren't aware of the sound when the purifiers are on a lower setting. I had researched air purifiers several times in the past for the purpose of cleaning irritants from the air but I always passed because there would be something about the size, performance, or price that didn't meet our needs. I am always very skeptical of purchasing electronic devices on Amazon due to false advertisements, fake positive reviews, or complete scams. However, I assure you this product is as perfect as it sounds! I have four cats, so my home has a lot of allergens from their fur, litter dust, and ammonia odors from the litter boxes. When I set up one of the air purifiers in the litter box area, the green light turned orange/yellow! In less than an hour, it went back to green. My house smelled SO much better! I used the other air purifier for the living room area as it is the largest room in my house, and I feel like I can breathe better! This product is excellent. This air purifier is the best! We bought two, one for the upper level, and one for the lower level. This is medical grade HEPA 14 Do the research before you buy, and if you buy extra filters, be sure to buy Genuine HEPA 14 filters, not True HEPA 13 filters just because they are at a lower price. You will be sorry, as you will be losing the reason you paid for a genuine HEPA 14 purifier in the first place- there is a difference in the ability of both to filter out the size of particles, don't be fooled by false advertising or tempting prices of 'HEPA 13 TRUE' filters. They are not genuine. don't insult the wisdom you had in buying this product! It makes the air much more pure than you can imagine, is quiet, looks very appealing, and is very much worth every penny of the price it costs. Like this a bunch as it does keep air fresh. Only drawback is the filter does need changed pretty often but I have a dog that sheds so that contributes and living in the desert means lots of dust as well.

Pros: Several options on fan speed and very little fan noise. Highly efficient at removing any allergens. Both auto and manual settings. Cons: None I live in the dusty, windy and hot desert with 2 dogs and a cat and rarely get the opportunity to open the windows in the summer, so I find this helps to remove any odors and allergens. I ordered another set of filters, but have not needed to change them so far. Very efficient and great quality! I highly recommend this product! ... show more

I wasn’t expecting a ton out of this small air purifier, but so far it’s really been quite effective. Our large fluffy dog sleeps in our bedroom every night, and though we try to keep her clean, she’s still a dog after all and so she smells like a dog. I always felt like our room smelled like “dog” no matter how much I cleaned or vacuumed. Since putting this air purifier in the corner of the room closest to where she tends to lay down, I could swear the room has less of an odor than it did before. I hope it’s not confirmation bias (like I expected it to work so I think it does), but so far it sure seems to be actually helping. I’m really quite impressed. It’s a small unit and extremely quiet. I did put a little piece of black electrical tape over a couple of the buttons on top because they light up a bit too bright for me at night, but that’s just because any light at all bothers me, this may not bother other people. I have just left it on the auto setting and haven’t really even looked into what the other settings are because the auto setting seems to be working fine for now. Pros: Quiet and significantly reduced dust on flat surfaces. Note at this review I’ve only had them 2 weeks. The units were simple to run— simply plug them in and turn on. I’ve left mine on auto but you can manually set run times and fan speed. Nice looking units. Cons: None so far.

    • Excellent Quite Compact Air Purifier
Style: PuroAir 240 (1 Pack)
This air purifier handles over four times the living space that my previous larger-in-size air purifier did. I operate this purifier at medium speed and it is much quieter than the previous one operated on low speed. The previous purifier used a flat F2 filter, which accumulated air debris primarily toward the bottom end of the filter where the air intake was - the face of the F2 filter at the top end would have nearly no debris on it. This air purifier uses a cylindrical filter which is fed air from all 360-degrees around it and the filter face captures the incoming air uniformly across its face. The design and construction of this unit is also more robust and not sloppy in fits like many other purifiers. I highly recommend this product as an engineer and as one with airborne allergies that previous air purifiers haven't been able to help much with. ... show more
