The title of this product us “Angelica Root *Essential* oil, but what just arrived in the mail has the following description on the side of the bottle: “Ingredients: Lab Crafted Angelica Root Oil. NOTE: Angelica archangelica is a very low oil plant. It takes an acre of flowers (THIS OIL IS SUPPOSED TO BE MADE FROM THE ROOT) to produce just one ounce of oil.     • Euthanize Fish with Clove Oil.

I ordered this product for my fishkeeping hobby. There comes a time that I may need to euthanize a pet betta fish and using clove oil is the best humane way to do it. I dont want my betta to experience more suffering so adding a few drops of clove oil to water then shake to mix the clove oil in the water is best. Then just add a fee drops at a time to make the fish to fall asleep. Then once asleep add more to finish the deed and leave the fish in the solution for 30 minutes. ... show more

I fully acknowledge that this review is going to be out there for the product and most people will not use it like I did, but this is for the 1% of people who are in the situation I was in, with a fish that is clearly in pain (she had advanced scoliosis) and wanting a method that is as humane as possible. For those not in the know, clove oil is a natural anesthetic and is used by aquarists to humanely euthanize fish because it painlessly kills them by paralyzing their gills and causing them to quickly lose consciousness from lack of oxygen to the brain. They just go to sleep peacefully. This very much worked for that and my fish's passing was quick and painless. I use clove oil for toothaches as it works better than any OTC reliever. This oil is strong, I have an incomplete root canal and my tooth was KILLING me. Instant pain relief!

So... I ordered this oil after doing some research on natural ADHD alternatives since my son and I both have ADHD and quarantine has been making us extra miserable. I recieved it 2 days later (3 days early), placed it my my oils and forgot about it for a few days. Yesterday.... The kids were fighting pretty bad. The house was a DISASTER and I was starting to seriously lose my cool. I remembered that I had just recieved this new oil and all if it's amazing calming affects. I decided to go ahead and give it a go. I put it in my living room diffuser where the kids had been fighting and playing all morning. I headed to the kitchen to start working on my mountain of dirty dishes. About 20 minutes passes and my 9 year old comes up to me. She says "we cleaned up our messes and swept in the living room. What else can we do?" I was shocked...because these kids usually have a mental breakdown if I tell them to do literally anything, and they had just cleaned up after themselves without being asked. Weird. I curiously said.... "Umm...well, you can clean any messes you see." Next thing you know... My 4 year old and 9 year old are sweeping,mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and asking for even more to do. My house my spotless in 1 hour. 1 HOUR. After we were all finished... I haven’t had the opportunity to use this yet but I have opened it and smelled it. It smells extremely potent. Upon further inspection, I noticed that I had been deceived. This is NOT essential oil! The picture didn’t indicate not did their description indicate that it wasn’t. What I received is wasn’t what I bought. This is “essence of”. It’s lab-created! I read the back of the bottle and NOWHERE did it state that this was artificial! I noticed they also didn’t upload a photo of the back of the bottle that listed the ingredients. I bought this essential oil on a friend's recommendation to use a few drops in my portable palette to keep my oil paint moist. It works! I also use it in my diffuser. It has a rich, pleasant scent. I'm happy with this purchase, and I will buy it again.
