  • Transformative for PC-VR Gaming! PrismPlus is a Revelation!
Before I got my hands on PrismPlus, playing PC-VR games like Beats syber and Half-life Alex wirelssly was a daily struggle. The video wouldn’t stabilize; I couldn’t see the menu or set up the controllers—so frustrating! But, PrismPlus turned out to be a revelation! Last night, I used PrismPlus mode to set up vjoy, and voilà! Stable video, responsive controlls, and an enjoyable gaming session! What I Loved: Crystal-Clear, Stable Video: PrismPlus is a game-changer! I finally have clear and stable video for an optimum gaming thrill. Easy setup: the App and BT works great. no need for me to play around with verious settings and cables. Highly enjoy the ease. Harmony with Airlink and Virtual Desktop: This combo has transformed my system into a wireless PC-VR haven! for both airlink and VD, it all works. Elevated Gaming Experience: Launching and playing games is now a breeze, a stark contrast to my previous struggles. Internet sharing: It support the PC Internet sharing! which I can use the ethernet connected PC to deliver an stable internet service. That's cool. I also tried with my gaming laptop which connected to internet wirelessly, and it works great as well. So many flexibles. More, there are other two modes, I don't use hotspot mode often, but I think be as an adapter might be great for some area where my PC wifi's card is not power enough for some internet. One more score. Minor Hitches: No 5G Internet under PrismPulse: The 5G is dedicated to streaming, so no setting up 5G internet. Though I can use it in adapter mode, that is different. So, PrismPlus has trully improved my PC-VR gaming experiences. It's rendered stability, clarity, and performance. Recommand! ... show more

  • Better than expected
I was going to write a long review talking about all kinds of stuff and decided to just hit the highlights. First is that it works. Low latency, strong signal, dead simple to get working. If you run into issues like I did don't burn 2 days messing with every setting in the app, on your PC, and on your home router...hit the reset button...it actually does something. I came from a Reverb G2 to a Quest 3 so the wireless thing kind of worried me. The link cable is ok, was not super impressed. I am a diehard OpenComposite user and combined with VirtualDesktop the latency, performance, and quality combined with the pancake lenses in the Quest 3 make this an insane setup. The Puppis S1 keeps the latency down and eliminated the microstutters I had on every other Wi-Fi setup (hotspot and my home router). What's also nice is having a direct connected Wi-Fi access point right near my area so the signal is strong and latency is extremely low. Using AV1 compression and everything is running like butter at high settings with plenty of overhead. It works, and it works well. Costs about the same as the link cable and it lets you use either SteamLink or VirtualDesktop. I don't think that you can beat that. ... show more

  • Very nice and substantial replacement for VR Air Bridge
I got this to replace my suddenly irrevocably broken VR Air Bridge, and I like it much more than the product it is replacing. It's a bit more sturdy and substantial, but it does connect right away once plugged in and set up. It's a little unclear on the first time setup, but once you're done it's all good from there. With the VR Air Bridge I was constantly having to unplug and reseat the device, almost every time I wanted to play with my Meta Quest 2, so much so that i got in the habit of just going ahead and unplugging and plugging it back in every time. I have NOT had a similar experience with this device. I recommend it, it was a little more expensive than I wanted it to be but if you catch it on sale that'd be perfect, or if you just want to spend a little more money for something more reliable and substantial (it's bigger and heavier than the VR Air Bridge). ... show more

  • Pretty awesome steady 2400 mbps on Virtual Desktop
Works really well so long as you don't connect it to the internet. I believe there's some sort of interference between the 2.4ghz connection on when it gets wifi and the 5ghz connection to your headset. With the wifi connection on, it was really choppy and unreliable. After resetting it and not using the wifi feature (you can easily opt out during setup and you don't need it to connect to wifi anyway since your computer presumably has internet already) I am getting SOLID 2400 mpbs using Virtual Desktop on my Quest Pro. ... show more
