  • Perfect for fish tanks
I bought this pump to add a little bit more flow to my tank so my corals can sway and it does a perfect job and last very long no complaints. Recommend!!

  • Good pump but pipe could be better
Replaced 2 of my house indoor table top fountains. Works great. The machine is good but the pipe is a bit flimsy. After a few days of us the water slows down, I need to straighten the pipe..and then it works .. If you can reuse the original pipe would be much better. Been using it for over a month now, no issues with both pumps ... show more

  • Tiny, but fair
It is a very tiny submersible pump, but it's pretty tough. It will not pump out a lot of water, but if you need a small submersible, recirculating pump for a ten to 15 gallon tank, it'll work ok. I have hard water and that has killed cheaper pumps, so this is worth it. Plus it's small and has suction cups so you can hide it anywhere in a tank. The noise level is minimum and tolerable. The tube is a little large, but not very long. Just keep all of that in mind before buying, plus your needs. It says on the box you can use it for basement drainage, no you could not use it for that. It is way too tiny and nowhere near enough or fast enough suction power. For my needs it works great, just keep in mind it's tiny and will not pump out or recirculate a lot of water very quickly. Again, for my needs in a 10 gallon tank it works great at recirculating the hard water, and that makes it worth the price for me ... show more

  • Great Value and Copes With a Lot
I ran this pump in a toad, snail and plant filled pond for two years. I used the hose to jet it clean once in a while and it’s worked great all this time running non stop. The water flow on high is surprisingly powerful for such a small pump, and it makes a nice soothing sound on low setting over rocks. The only thing that broke it was cat hair getting into the pond and choking it, making it stop and burning out the motor, my bad for grooming pets near it. Instantly went to buy another as it was such a good pump for a great price. ... show more

  • Just what I needed.
I was able to keep my beautiful table top fountain because I found this new pump. Works great. I know they don't last forever, so I am especially glad I now know where to get a new pump.

  • Bought two, one works, the other does not.
Bought two and used them for small waterfalls. Both clogged immediately and stopped working. After taking them both apart and cleaning them, I was able to get them both working again. One is still running. The other stopped about two days later and I have not been able to get it running since. Another issue with them is the adjustable flow. Sometimes I have it turned all the way down and it’s firing out. Other times I move the adjustment just slightly and it’s completely off. My last issue with it is the head power. If you fully submerge the pump and raise the INCLUDED tubing up, the pump cannot even push the water through. The pump has maybe a foot of head height so if you plan to run the tube vertical get something else. I will not be purchasing these again and will try a different brand next time. Overall 5/10 ... show more

  • Needs all the parts to be usable.
This item was missing the adapter parts to allow it to be attached to the fountain. Must have been sold to someone else who returned it without all of the parts.

  • Works well for what we needed
It’s mostly what I expected. Arrived on time. It was perfect for our 2.5’ tall Small fountain. Could work for a cat fountain, or small to medium aquarium fountain. Is quiet and functional. After we tried it out, I couldn’t decide what I wanted to use it for because I could see more uses for it! :) The little suction cups underneath don’t work very well, but I’m happy with the price for the buy. Make sure it’s fully submerged, to protect the motor; OURS WORKS GREAT ! It’s small (1”x 1.5”x 2”), fits in the palm of my hand, and fairly discreet. The tube it came with is okay, not as quality as I had hoped, but it worked when I cut off a piece of a wide straw and put it on the inside of the tube before I attached it to the pump. Came with a couple basic attachments. It sped up a little after it started going, so watch for that so that it doesn’t overflow. Overall I’m happy with it. ... show more
