I ran to my PC after I got this little guy. My AC produces 4 gallons of Water a day onto a receptable that is very low to the ground. I was straining my back getting a pitcher and filling up my water cans. Now I just put this little suction thing in and direct the hose to my watering cans and away it goes really fast.     • Using outdoors for fish tubs
Only dislike…..the clear tubing that comes with it is flimsy. Unlike most aquarium hobby tubing that cannot be bent completely closed (easily), this hose closes if you simply drape it over the edge of a tub. That’s a nuisance. It seems to provide enough power (it is not a large pump). I am using the pump to push water from the fish tub, through a UV light and back into the fish tub. The hose has to be very carefully positioned so that the flow to the UV light is not cut off by kinks in the hose. If you use your own hose, the pump is fine. ... show more

The pump works great for the old one in the little outdoor pond. There were no issues with the spare tube/hose that other reviews mentioned. Everything fit together well. I was more impressed with ordering the pump later Saturday afternoon, and it was delivered Sunday by noon!! Highly recommend!

The pump does not have the lift/throughput that I expected. The hose that came with it was too flimsy and kept kinking. So I put on a different hose and got it working for a small fountain.

Got it to replace a burned out pump for my patio fountain that requires strength for three foot vertical lift . Does the job fine and quietly too. Can’t testify to its duration as have only had it up n running for a month or so . Fountain runs about 12 hours per day so we soon shall she .
