    • Great Chair
When it comes to a comfortable recliner, I think a person would be hard pressed to do much better. Particularly if you are dealing with injuries and many disabilities. Hospital beds are horrible and can really do bad things to a person over the long term. You need to be able to sit up and properly bend your knees. With a power recliner, you can change your position as often as you need to. And with this one you can even fully recline. And you really can move the back to this chair completely independently from the footrest, even in the lifting position. This is so awesome for anyone who uses a hydraulic lift. I was very concerned about my lift not working with this chair because it is too wide. However, you can just put the chair into a partially raised position and lean the backrest down some and you are able to pull the lift all the way up to the chair and get in or out of it without feeling like you're going to slide out of the chair. Plus the fabric isn't slippery. For context, I am 5'7". I really thought that part of my head would be above the top of the backrest, but it isn't. There are still 3 or 4" to spare. My heels do not reach the end of the footrest either, but they are close. My feet won't touch the floor when I am sitting upright. If I wanted them not to dangle, I would have to use a foot stool or pillow. I have an average sized frame and currently carry too much weight in my midsection. I'm out of shape and have painful pelvic and leg injuries. There is enough width in the seat that my hips don't actually touch the arm rests and I think most people would not have that problem. The cup holders are kind of useless to me because I have to have the backrest fully upright and use a very tall glass to reach them. The average person probably wouldn't be as bothered by this since they would likely have the core strength to lean forward. My six foot tall boyfriend loves the chair and thinks it is totally comfortable. I would qualify this chair as being plush and soft without you sinking down into it. I deal with a lot of pain and I really don't think I could easily find anything more comfortable. I feel like it is going to be durable, but only time will tell. I've been sitting in it constantly for two weeks. The armrests are relatively low. I thought I might not like that, but it's perfectly fine. They are wide and I end up setting a lot of things on them, including the remotes. There isn't a raised headrest. When a person is reclining, they are going to want a low pillow or something. I have a partially folded throw over the top of my backrest so that it doesn't slide around. I also have a nubby chenille blanket over the chair. Really, I should have something that could provide much better protection against leaks or spills, etc. Chenille fabric (which is what this upholstery is) is not fast drying and only dry cleaning methods are recommended for it. Luckily I haven't had to deal with that yet, so I can't really speak on it. Having a throw over the chair doesn't interfere with the heat and massage functions. The lumbar support in this recliner is more than sufficient for me. It supports the arch of my back and if I arch it further, the padding expands to stay with my back and doesn't stay compressed. I was very worried that the massage points would bother me through the upholstery, but that hasn't happened at all. And I'm every bit of a Princess and The Pea type. The padding on the footrest and its width are also sufficient. The massage points on the chair run from your upper back down through the footrest. There is a small gap of coverage under your butt, but it picks back up at your thighs. If you can call it a gap, frankly it is a vibrating type massage, so the whole chair is affected by the vibrations. I usually don't even turn the vibration on in the footrest when it's raised because it's going to vibrate somewhat regardless. That is definitely the noisiest part of the chair. The vibrating noise is reminiscent of riding on an airplane when set on low intensity, but the footrest is noisier when extended. My house is 96 years old and I'm guessing that the vibrating noise is probably annoying to someone in the room underneath me, but I haven't asked anyone to check. The raising and reclining motors are practically silent and they work great. Unfortunately, I've already been through a 23 hour power outage and had to use an ottoman for my feet and calves, but I was fine. It would be a pain to have the chair reclined with the footrest extended if you needed to get in and out of the chair during a power outage. The lumbar heater is soothing and a good temperature. Just give it a few minutes to make it through the padding when you first turn it on. I hope that I haven't forgotten to comment on anything. I could go on and I'll probably add to my review later on, but I'm afraid something will cause me to lose this lengthy review before I submit it. Best of luck with your recliner purchase. Chair arrived six days ahead of schedule in 3 large boxes. Driver was nice enough to bring them inside the house for me since I'm 78 and not able to do any heavy lifting. My son came over and helped put it together. Would be a little difficult for elderly persons to assemble it by themselves. Chair looks and performs exactly as advertised. Very happy with it so far. Motors are whisper quiet. Very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a power lift chair. ... show more

We have springs that we can't find a place for. No instructions on assembly. It's a very pretty chair, texture is nice. I'll update when we plug it in

Tbh, I’m normally a pessimist and when I got this chair, I was expecting a mediocre chair. But after the chair was assembled, I have to say that my dad is in love with this chair and this is an understatement. From being able to lay almost flat to the many different functionalities including being able to charge your phone, and get a massage, I have to say this is the greatest I’ve gotten my dad. But wait….there’s more. When I initially ordered the chair, there was a piece missing and long story short, they didn’t have the piece I needed. But my favorite company representative, Alan, was quick to provide me the assistance I needed. Without thought, he called me several times to ask me what I needed to make sure I was happy. They even sent me another chair when the initial one was lacking a piece. And they didn’t even make me have to worry about paying for it. This company is the paramount of customer service and I highly recommend that you not only but this chair but also buy their products because they not only want you to get their stuff but follow through and make sure that you’re happy and satisfied. ... show more
