Sound great and very rigid, alum basket is fantastic. Bought two, one new and one amazon great used. Unfortunately the used does not work, looks perfect as was the factory packaging. Didn't get around to installing or checking" work stuff" checked it tonight and zero sound. Should have checked it as soon as I could've. Just missed the return cutoff, so check them when you get them. Generally have had perfect used product. Oh well.. ... show more

Sounds very clean and likes it when you give it many watts. Definitely not for bass so don't expect that. this is a voice speaker and is great at what it's meant for. Reaches very high into the sound spectrum, so adding a tweeter is almost unnecessary.

This speakers has a deep bass that anyone would really appreciate and a crispy vocals coming out of the midrange. I installed this on my front door and my rear deck with DS18 Pro 310 tweeters on my front dashboard with 2 JL Subs in my trunk and it sounds more than I thought it would be. Very very good.     • but like any speaker you can get a tin type noise ...
They are very loud and clear, but like any speaker you can get a tin type noise through the aluminum center cone but its not that noticible on this speaker
