When these were finally installed and the HPF set on the crossover inside the head unit they blew me away. I’m only running a 10” sub with these and the transition between the speakers and sub is nice. A guitar through a Marshall sounds like a guitar through a Marshall. I changed out my Skar 6x9s to these PRVs and man do they scream. The sound is crisp and clear. I haven’t had issues with distortion even at very high volumes.

I bought these speakers because the Roadglide I bought used had this brand prv I had never herd of but sounded great with great quality so I bought these 6x9 to pair up with to 8 inch woofers that were already there a they kick ass the best sound ever

These speakers have been AMAZING! They remain crystal clear and pump out sound, comparable to other brand speakers that are almost double the price. I have these powered by a pioneer 4 channel running about 75 watts with a 0-300hz inline crossover. They are fantastic. The mids are very sharp, deafening at times, but that's to be expected. They don't need a tweeter in my opinion and can work just fine as a stand alone or along side a subwoofer tuned to pretty low frequencies. The magnet is huge and this speaker weighs significantly more than any cheaply made coaxial 6x9 out there. It also worth mentioning: *PLEASE* run this speaker with either an active or passive crossover. In my testing, the safest frequency to play these at is 200hz before you'll notice clipping and eventually ruin the voice coil. Other than that, these speakers are great. ... show more

I use to run 4-Pioneer 6900 Pro Series 6x9's, then my friend turned me on to these. These are the best 6x9 I've ever owned. They love power and they love to play loud. i have them running with 4-S18 6.5's on a SounDigital Evo X 800.4 and they slap!!! I installed these in the factory location in the rear deck of a Corolla 2014. I'm blown away with these speakers. They are LOUD! But that was to be expected. What impressed me the most is how clear these are. I've been hearing things in songs that I never noticed before and clearly understanding parts of songs that I never understood before.
