We bought a few of these for our kids to watch while traveling. I was surprised by the clear and beautiful the picture. We haven't had any trouble with it skipping, in fact the movie kept playing when my daughter dropped it off her lap in the car. The screen is big enough for three people to watch if it's set in the middle. We've had to use it in a waiting room, and it held charge for an entire movie. Sound quality is pretty good, but we have used headphones for most of our use. It comes with ac adapters for both wall and car use, and a pair of earbuds. The price on this was good, but the controls are confusing for my kids. the picture is great just small, but it took one fall and now the sound is messed up, everything has a deeper tone to it which on a show like paw patrol or something just sounds really weird. The kids don't seem to mind too much so it's still in use, but since the outer look of this gives the impression it's meant for use by kids I expected it to be a little more robust to shocks. ... show more

Purchased this for Christmas gift for little one and she loves it. Love that it has a built in handle and it is a durable portable DVD player. It has been dropped a few times and still works with no problems. The buttons are easy to push and changing the movie is easy as well. Perfect!

    • Perfect for my six year old!
We had another model if sylvania DVD player and loved it. But I took it to my art exhibition and used it as a slide show for my previous works. Unfortunately there was a ton of fine dust that settled over everything. Tried everything to clean and blow our but just stopped recharging. This new one is so much better than the old one- more sturdy for my six year old. No more twisting and turning the screen around. I should have bought one with larger screen but he keeps it on his lap anyway. Great deal for the money! ... show more

I purchased three of these for my three homeschoolers. I had to exchange one on the first day for a "defect". Now, two months in, another one has a different defect but it's too late to exchange it so I am stuck with a TV that doesn't work at all. I should have returned all three and went with my gut on the first day! Defects listed: 1. DVD door doesn't close so disc won't play. 2. Both the car charger wire and the wall plug wire don't stay in the machine at all so it can't get power from any source therefore it is dead and useless. ... show more

I never received it ever. I would have appreciated an email saying it was lost or would never arrive, but nothing. Tracking still says on its way though it will never arrive. So a friend ordered it for me. That one is red, it's ok but only has a 2 hour battery life - barely enough for one movie. If the movie is extra long, you have to recharge it before you can view the rest of the movie. Also the volume at its highest is inferior. I guess I would recommend this for a child. But even if you take it on a trip, it would soon be useless because of the inferior battery life. ... show more
