I’m a very heavy hitting drummer and break a lot of sticks. These are some of the best cheap sticks out there. Balanced and not too light feeling. I would recommend if you are a light hitting drummer.

Not sure why, but the signature ride-cymbal click that you would expect from a nylon tip is not very pronounced with these sticks. Maybe the nylon is a little softer than on others, or maybe the big smooth oval tip shape diminishes the attack, but they kind of sound like wood acorn shape tips. But they are a nice 7A and they only cost about a third as much as many others. ... show more

I'll admit I'm not that much of a drum stick aficionado. And for whatever reason, I've been partial to ProMarks. They've been working well for 5A's. I think I may actually prefer 5B's though.

Received these sticks only a couple of days ago. I thought I'd try them out as I am a huge fan of promark sticks. Since promark makes these I figured they'd be of decent quality. One stick split on me just after two days. Less than two hours of practice on it. While hitting a light weight bronze mute cymbal. It's quite disappointing. Hopefully the other five sticks will prove to be better, but so far, these aren't any better than the cheap OnStage drum sticks. ... show more
