Like many others, My vortens 3464 toilet tank cracked, so I only wanted a replacement tank. None of my my local hardware or plumbing shops had a compatible tank, so I was lucky to find a Reddit thread where someone mentioned this tank (although not a perfect fit) works. I installed it yesterday and can confirm it does fit and so far, there have been no leaks. TAKE NOTE that the shape is not an exact match, and the screw holes are slightly off, so it’s a bit wobbly even with the original shims and the screws being tightened, but as long as you’re not pushing hard on it, it seems to be stable enough. Also a huge bonus: it comes with all internal flushing parts preinstalled (lever, filling pump, flapper, etc) so all you have to do is attach the main hole’s flange and the 2 screws, and the water line, and you’re good to go. I’ll admit I did have some extra squishy plastic washers that I put on the outside of the tank before adding the metal washer and nut to minimize any crushing forces given it’s a little wobbly. Definitely a good value at only $55. Also it’s preset at a low flow for saving water with each flush. If any of the internal parts break or start leaking I’ll update the review but so far it’s good. ... show more

    • Installation was a breeze
The tank I purchased came fully fitted with all the hardware needed to make the gizmo function. All I had to do was clean the area where the old tank was, put the new tank in place, and tighten the screws. Hooked up the water supply and done. Taking the old tank off was more of a hassle than installing the new tank. That's kind of bass ackwards from the way this klutzy DIYer usually does things. We'll see how it lasts over time, but I'm satisfied for now. ... show more

The holes where the long screws go down to fasten the tank to the toilet bowl are spaced just like Home depot Galaxy bay 331-725. Even though the middle drain hole is 2" instead of 3", I was able to reuse the big rubber ring from the old tank as an extra layer of protection against ceramics making contact. Otherwise, the tank seems to work. All parts are included and the package is double boxed. Information on the hole spacing and size of the drain hole should be specified in the ad. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Product seems to be the correct replacement. It also seems somewhat packaged “okay”, could be better but if the box was labeled properly the packaging might suffice. There is ZERO indication on the box stating fragile, careful, etc. So during transit, it gets handled roughly and breaks. Attempted to elect for a replacement. If it’s broke, full refund is next step. ... show more

Tank Lid arrived broken. The package didn’t say fragile on it or anything and the lid was just under everything to have the weight of the package being sat on top of it as it was loaded and unloaded in shipping. Poor packaging. The tank itself fit on my American Standard cadet base just fine, no issues with the fit or look. It said “tank only” so I purchased tank bolts, gasket, flush valve, fill valve, etc from fluidmaster. It does come with these items, although the cheap plastic water saving crap in it took multiple flushes to get it to flush. I replaced everything in it with the other items I purchased and now the toilet works well again. ... show more

I loved how easy it was to use. It was plug and play kind of experience. It comes with extra parts if you have different needs. It was exactly what I needed at an affordable price. Thank goodness for this product.
