this product is much better quality than i originally expected for how good the price is!! a little difficult to set up at first but once you figure it out it should be easy to take up and down! i needed two people to set it up. it’s really stable i don’t feel worried that it will fall down. we did have an issue with the washer at the top getting too tight, but after reading the troubleshooting section in the manual we were able to loosen it. there is also a helpful youtube video on how to set it up! I absolutely love this pole! The only parts i’d say i dont like is how difficult it is to put it on static. I lost the initial nails it came with to put the pole in static mode, and there are no other nails that fit into that part, so i only have a spinning pole which is not an issue AT ALL!! The pole is smaller than most poles. im a dancer, and the poles at work are thicker, which makes it harder to do tricks. This pole is very easy to work with and with some gripping aid, it work’s phenomenal! I have not experienced the pole moving out of spot, other than once! I did install the pole incorrectly, so of course it had some shifting. But other than that one mistake, this pole is EXTREMELY sturdy and leaves no damages! ... show more

I used to have an X-Pole nearly 16 years ago (actually, had two of them). I wanted to get back into it (for fitness and fun) but didn't want to drop a few hundred dollars. I had concerns that this wouldn't work in my space, as I have carpet - but it DOES work and has held strong with no slipping. I am a bigger girl (size 14 and over 200lbs) and this holds. Now, I haven't done upside down moves yet, as I want to get a mat (since I broke my tailbone 15 years ago doing this and now at 40 I am afraid to break anything lol), but this pole is really sturdy if installed properly. I also have a child that likes to run and swing on it, and climb it, and it doesn't budge!! If you're looking for an affordable option to get into pole fitness, this is a great option! I just wish the bas was smaller (sometimes I stub my toe) but a mat around the base will eliminate that. Oh.. and if you are using on carpet, please invest in knee pads... carpet burns are NOT fun haha! ... show more

Very sturdy, even on carpet. Used a studfinder. Easy to assemble, a bit difficult to level. The pieces did not stand up exactly vertically so I had to painstakingly nudge around the pole under mild tension with the ceiling to straighten before tightening. The spin is smooth and not loose. I dislike the design of the top cover since it is just cosmetic, but covers all the adjustment holes. I removed the cover so that I can retighten or loosen to move the pole if necessary. The chrome is good. The blue plastic wrap is annoyingly tightened to the bases and couldn't easily be removed. The base lettering is poor quality but I didn't expect much for the price. We have a tile floor and on top, we aligned it with the support beam part of the ceiling. It looked super sturdy, but it fell down 3 times when 3 different people were using it. Super dangerous. Also, extremely slippery (I did a whole bunch of things to make it less slippery, but it's still meh). Doesn't even compare to the ones in my studio. Too bad! ... show more

I was a bit skeptical of this at first because it's not necessarily reputable like xpole or lupit but those were way outside my budget. I ended up buying this and it came with all the parts! The box arrived in good condition and was discreet. This thing is pretty sturdy just make sure you are installing it under a ceiling joist (knock on the ceiling and find a spot that does NOT sound hollow). I (about a 100ibs) and my friend (about 150ibs) spin on it pretty fast and I can hit inverted/upside-down skills without any fear. I did put a dish towel on the ceiling since we are renters. The instructions are a bit confusing but the important part is that pole A is attached to the top dome; any extensions should be going at the base and NOT the top or middle. The metal is thick, no rust, screws did not strip, and pieces come together with seams that don't disrupt your grip. Me and my friend have been using it for about an hour a day, mixed stationary and spin (very smooth, can be a bit fast). So far no bends, creaking, or clicking (though the iron cover occasionally squeaks from rubbing against the pole). 100% worth the buy! ... show more
