I am just a homeowner who has been casually cutting my entire family’s hair for 20 years (including my own). About 10 years ago I finally invested in professional clippers and scissors which are still going strong to this day. But, I have continued to go through many over-the-counter hair dryers. Like my non-professional clippers before I invested in better ones, my hairdryer usually just last a 2-3 years. That said, I am so happy to now have this professional hair dryer from Dekuri. It is very solid, powerful, safe and true lay professional in every regard. Here is both the good and the bad of my experience with it so far. THE GOOD - Very sturdy and well built. - Hefty but remains light and balanced in the hands. It is a joy to use! - Removable dust filter - Long cord. So great! - Very powerful AC Motor. Indeed, you can dry hair in nearly half the time. - The AC motor will last much longer than the cheaper DC motors. - Comes with many accessories. - You can tell the positive difference that the negative ions make. Hair does have less static and frizz. There is a better shine. Nice to know that that radiation is decreased so it is perfectly safe. THE BAD - The purple light that shines out the front is more annoying than useful to me. Your experience may be different. - The switches are handy but take a while to get used to knowing what does what. - More accessories than most will need. But still good to have them I guess :) In the end, I am so happy to have this hair dryer. I should of invested in this quality years ago. It would have saved me a lot of money from throwing my money away on lesser hair dryers. Indeed, buy this one. You will not be disappointed :) ... show more

    • Heavy duty with many accessories
This hair dryer has some weight to it - this can be a deterrent to some because it may lend to arm fatigue, but I prefer the heavier dryers because they seem to have more power and are less likely to overheat. The color is really nice - pink with some rose gold buttons - and the options for heat levels and air strength are a good variety. There is also a cool blast button. The attachments that come with the drying are the diffuser, which is a nice size, 2 different attachments for focused drying, and a comb for drying while combing. I think this is my favorite attachment, and not all standard dryers come with this option (they are normally a specific drying just for combing). There is also a round brush and comb, separate of the dryer, that come in this box, which is also not standard and puts the bonus items into the super category. I think this hair dryer is the nicest I've used in years, and at the price point and number of attachments you get with this, I'd say it's a deal. ... show more

This Dekuri Professional Ionic Hair Dryer AC Motor Fast Drying Salon Blow Dryer with Diffuser is an excellent product. It has a powerful motor that seems to be built to last. It has two different air blowing speeds and three different levels of heat. The connectors it comes with allows to either diffuse or focus the air for styling and it also has a wide tooth comb attachment for natural curling. The feature I like the most is the constant temperature control that prevents the dryer from overheating and damaging the hair. The cord is long which allows freedom of movement where you don’t to be too close to an outlet. Although I find that the dryer is a little heavy but that is probably because it is built to last. This hair dryer had plenty of power to dry my long thick hair. It was not as lightweight as I would have liked it to be for myself but it was still a good hair dryer and easy to handle. I didn’t have to worry about accidentally pushing the buttons while using the hairdryer. Came with plenty of accessories that were sturdy/durable and easy to put on/take off. They weren’t magnetic though. There was no glove which I would have liked to have to remove them because they did get quite hot after using them. I liked that this came with both a comb and brush so basically everything I needed to do my hair was included in this set. I also liked the pink color. This would make a good Christmas gift.
