This meter is FAST! Almost fully automatic, it zeros and calibrates itself in half a second when you power it up. Then its up to you to start grabbing capacitors as fast as you want with the tweezers. Works great on SMD components too. It gives audible beeps based on the reading and once get familiar with capacitys and the meters scale, I won't even have to look at the meter before moving on to the next cap. As a business, doing electronics repair and custom design, this SAVES TIME AND MAKES ME MONEY! WILL PAY FOR ITSELF! ... show more

Quickly determines whether the capacitor is open or shorted. No need to remove the capacitor from the PCB. Absolutely foolproof!

I love it but for this price it should have at least interchangeable alligator clips and SMD tweezers of a lot better quality. I think the built quality and materials used for this look like it’s a $30 tool. So I’m not sure if the internal parts are worth more but for this price I was expecting to have a better built quality. Tweezers are the cheapest that could be made ... show more

    • The device was great, the support SUCKED.. Not what I see being claimed.
The device was great, loved it. But, it quit working, and the support was NOT there. I ended up having to buy a different unit and brand. In my case at least, they did NOT support the device, even saying as much. Somewhere I probably still have the email from them to verify it. I was told no support, no documentation for me to try to repair it myself. Just buy a new one. So, I did, but not another one of theirs.. ... show more

    • It is impossible to measure many capacitors using the tweezers.
The tweezers are hard wired into the unit and so you cannot use flying test leads e.g. froma multimeter with this unit. You are therefore unable to reach both terminals of any reasonably large capacitor or ones with axial leads. Why no banana plugs for the test leads to provide more flexibility. Also no screen so you have to interpret a bunch of beeps which looks like a real headache to me but I never even got that far with it. The unit is being returned. ... show more
