These paint brushes are very a very good quality item. They come in a set of five, so for me, it's a good deal for the money. The brushes worked perfectly for painting the kitchen walls, doors and trim in my kitchen. I also used these brushes to paint my kitchen cabinets! These brushes washed out easily, so I was able to reuse them all throughout my projects. I can foresee these brushes lasting me for several years, just as long as they are kept clean! While painting my kitchen, I didn't have any issues with these brushes leaving behind brush strokes or leaving behind those dreaded brush bristles. The paint went on smoothly and evenly! Overall, I highly recommend this product to others, as well as my family and friends. And I hope this reviews helps others deciding to make this purchase. I give this product a perfect 5 stars! Great assortment of paint brushes to have on hand for various painting projects that seem to pop up! I used a couple for painting pond shield on my stock tank - they worked great! I admit if I'm a little spoiled from having used pro-quality paintbrushes, so I won't compare this set to those. I've also used paint brushes around this price, and I wasn't expecting much. When compared to the usual quality of a set at this price, these are surprisingly good. Very little bristle loss, cleans up well, and the tapered edge cuts into tight spaces, giving you decent control over the application. Honestly, I figured these were basically going to be 'throw away' brushes at this price. Boy was I wrong. And pleasantly surprised. These brushes are suitable for most general painting projects. It's nice to not have to pay 12 dollars or more for a brush if you're not a pro painter but still want to use something of decent quality. I am a retired painting contractor and i would have happily used these for myself and my crew on a daily basis. For critical 'cutting in' such as the mullions on windows you might prefer a brush with slightly stiffer bristles, but these will still do the job. I'll still use my name brand brushes for some projects but i just ordered more of these brushes to have on hand. another 2 1/2 inch and a 3 inch as well as a set of 3 2 inch angle brushes. You COULD use them as 'throw away' brushes but once you use them you'll see they're definitely worth keeping. I have been painting for quite some time. Naturally, I purchased brushes at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I always had issues with their brushes. Sales people always telling me that I didn’t buy the right brush, so buy another. Each brush failing miserably with bristles falling out, handles breaking or just simply not lasting between cleaning. I was tired of the chain store prices and thought I would just buy a pack from Amazon that I could throw away. I was mistaken!!! These brushes are extremely durable, high quality and have lasted ALL my painting endeavors to include bonding primers, enameled paint, latex and stain.
