I have four of the black pleather with dark wood. They are sturdy, swivel appropriately and the pleather is actually nice. They are relatively easy to put together. The cushion is firm, but comfortable to sit on for long periods. I recommend them and would them buy again if I had the need.

I have had the barstools with the round base and one poll sticking up and they do not last. This will last. Very well built and easy to put together. Patience is needed to put them together if you got bigger hands like I do, but very easy job. I am pretty impressed with them so far.

Good quality components and sturdy build. One assembly tip: When attaching the seat back, screw in the outer (longer) screws first. As there seems to be a little warpage at the attaching points, the longer screws will bring the shorter screws in closer so they will start easier.
