Due to severe Osteoarthritis in my lower back and both knees, I have been wheel chair bound for several years. I was looking for lightweight, portable, electric wheel chair that would allow me to leave the house and go places by myself. After trying several models available and not being satisfied, I hit on this one. This is one of the best values for the money I have ever purchased. Upon arrival, I unpacked it and it practically unfolded itself from the box. Is is so easy to fold and unfold and there is virtually zero assembly to perform to place it into service. And believe me, you do not want to be standing a parking lot in the hot Texas sun assembling a wheel chair. It is light weight yet extremely sturdy. I have used my chair outside the house almost every day since it arrived. It maneuvers nimbly around in hospitals, Dr's office buildings, retail stores, restaurants and anywhere else I used to walk. it also works extremely well on sidewalks and wheel chair ramps With its two battery packs, I have yet to become stranded because I've run out of "juice". I just swap 'em around in less than 1 minute and keep on motoring. They charge up quickly in the evening and I never leave he house without both battery packs fully charged. The seat is very comfortable (I am 5'10 and 225 lbs) and I have spent hours at a time in it with no discomfort. The flip out foot rest provides for a comfortable extension for my legs. The controller is smooth and easy to operate and keeps the chair following the intended track. It is easy to attach and take off for transport. I wish there was a mute option for the back-up alarm feature. This beeping is annoying when maneuvering in an office or an elevator. Besides, we're not operating it on a loading dock! I really cannot find any faults in it's design or assembly. The frame is tight and the welds are substantial, in line with its 5 year warranty on the chair frame. One feature that another chair had was a USB port on it's Controller to enable a user to recharge a cell phone. This was a darn nice feature, but it did not overcome several other deficiencies in that wheel chair. I'd also like to see a better accommodation for packages in the area underneath the chair. Finally, the Customer Support was super. I had contacted them to request they expedite the delivery time frame on my chair as I was about to move and they did it right away with no questions asked. And they followed up to insure I was happy! I am totally pleased with my purchase and would recommend this electric wheel chair to anyone that is tired of being cooped up in a house and wants to get out and enjoy life again. This won't replace my lost mobility as a result of my osteoarthritis, but is has made a huge, positive difference in my quality of life. ... show more

I purchased this wheelchair to accommodate my husband's mobility. We took it on our vacation in Savannah, Ga and it worked marvelously. He said the seat is very comfortable and easy to operate. He even drove in the rain while wearing a poncho. Yes, it is a little heavy to lift but it is worth it! It has a good travel range and handles terrain well. The only thing slightly disappointing about this chair is its weight. Too heavy for me, I'm 73. Hubby can lift OK but wish it were lighter. Love the mobility and foldability. It goes everywhere turns on a dime and zooms if you want it to. Love it

I am 30 years old and I got this chair for my mother in law who is 80. I initially saw someone using this product at a rest area stop, and was blown away by the size and speed at which this chair can go. We use this chair for trips to parks / malls, etc. (not constant daily use). Here are the pros and cons: Pros - definitely a game changer in mobility. I don’t know any other electric chair that you can fold and fit in the car trunk in a minute - battery lasts a long time. We’ve never ran out of battery yet and did not even come close to it (even after few hours of shopping) - it pulls very strongly, it has no problems with a 200 lb rider - the frame seems sturdy and well built - access to the seat is easy as you can lift up side handles. Sitting is comfortable. - the chair is easy to operate, even by a senior who never uses any technology - the chair can be placed in a manual mode, so it’s easy to maneuver with assistance into tight spaces (basically becomes a regular wheelchair) - the ride is smooth, it has good suspension - the chair came in from China and while the box and manual seemed a bit shady the seller is responsive and sent multiple follow ups throughout the process - it has a “wow” factor because it looks very cool - when you fold it, it is really compact and can be stored away somewhere, even in a small apartment Cons - my understanding is that the chair should not be exposed to rain. This is a big downside if you live in a place like NY, where it does rain and snow a lot. You have to check forecast before heading out - it folds easily when you know how to do it, but if you don’t know how to do it’s impossible to figure it out. A senior cannot fold it themselves, and if my mother in law needs to take a cab I am sure cab driver will not know how to fold it and it’s impossible to explain over the phone. I think they should make folding buttons different color or something. - the chair is still pretty heavy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s better than anything else out there, but you need a young person around to lift it up and put in the trunk of a car - the frame and electrical is well built but there are some unimportant plasticky pieces that are cheaply made - if this is for a senior, i highly recommend they use it under supervision. The chair is very powerful and can fast as well (you can adjust speed. We use the lowest, which is simular to slow walking speed) and an unexperienced rider / someone with poor vision / reflexes can get into a bad accident. This is obviously applicable to any electric chair, not just this one ... Overall I recommend the chair. It can make a real difference for someone who is not able to walk well. ... show more

This is a great little chair for travel! I've taken it all over the place in the few months that I've had it: Seattle, San Fransisco, Yosemite National Park, Houston Arboretum, Hawaii, and Canada. I've taken it on paved trails, packed gravel trails, grass, in airports, etc. It even did well going uphill in San Fransisco. The battery lasts quite a while, and the chair is easy to maneuver.
