    • I was worried…
I have trouble with rifle scope eye relief. I was worried that I would fight the eye relief on this prism sight. I mounted it with the low cantilever mount placing the eye piece even with the charging handle. With this setup I get instant eye relief. I bore sighted it with my eyes at about 50 yards. Took it to the range and within 4-5 shots I had it shooting 2-2 1/2 inch groups at 50 yards with a 10.5 in barrel. …so if you’re worried about the eye relief, don’t be! This is a great little sight when you want to go lite with the optic. ... show more

Very happy with this optic. 2.7in may be the optimal eye relief, but I can move out to about 7in before shadowing occurs. 13 brightness settings, including that for night vision. The clarity is great for this price. If the battery fails, you still have the optic etched on the glass. Some complain about a 1moa adjustment, but it's a 1x...you're not sniping with this optic... there is a 3x option and this is good for Multiple calibers. Very happy thus far. ... show more

    • Out of the box the "chevron" and ranging marks are tiny.
Unless you have the eyes of an eagle you're going to find the chevron and ranging marks are just plain tiny unless you use this scope with a magnifier. Otherwise the most effective use of this sight will be as a CQB (Close Quarters Battle) "green dot" which works quite well up to 50 yards and pretty OK up to 100 yards. CQB is where this scope shines due to its simply awesome and forgiving eye box. Even if your eye isn't centered with the scope all that well the bullet goes where the chevron points. As it comes out of the box I'd give this scope 4 stars as a CQB sight, and 1 star for its capability beyond 100 yards, 3 stars overall. I highly recommend you don't take anyone's word (including mine) for this scope. Most online reviewers are a lot more impressed with it than I am. If at all possible look through one of these before you buy it and then you will know if it's right for you. ... show more

Primary Arms is my go to for optics. I have not been unhappy with anything I have bought from them. I would look at the 2.5 or the 2.0 instead of the 1x for CQB and the ability to reach out a bit. IMHO the 1x is CQB only. Its still a great optic!!

This is probably one of the nicest optics I own. I have some more expensive options but chose this because it is that good in my opinion. Durability might be a question but this thing rocks!
