I had a medium-sized griddle that we used a lot and the anti-stick surface had finally seen its better days we we researched and bought this griddle. Very nice griddle. No complaints. Works as advertised. The only thing I noticed that doesn't't have to do with the griddle performance is its so large, it doesn't fit in our double sink. It hangs over any side of the sink so when you go and wash it you have to (concentrate) or you will have soapy water splashing all over the counter. It's that large.     • Great basic griddle
I first bought this model several years ago. It saw regular, rather heavy use. Although it is dishwasher safe, we couldn't fit it into our dishwasher, this may vary by model of dishwasher. But it is still very easy to hand wash, since you don't have to worry about getting the contacts wet during washing. After several years, including a move, it finally needed to be replaced. It still worked fine, but due to storage issues and carelessness, it had developed some chips and minor cracks in the legs and the outer plastic housing. It is plenty sturdy, it just had a hard life because our new kitchen had serious storage issues and we were not as careful as we should have been. So, after reading lots of different listings for various griddles, I finally decided that we had been happy enough with the old one, that it was just best to replace it with the same model. Fortunately, the product is still available, and from reading reviews it didn't seem like the quality had changed. We've been just as happy with the new one. I worked out a better storage system that won't leave it vulnerable to damage. It does have some areas that are slightly hotter than other areas, I think that this is inevitable with any electric griddle of large size. It's very minor, it does not affect the performance. The only times that I notice is when I'm intentionally looking for it, so I make some large pancakes to see for myself what's happening on that surface. Even then, the hot spots are minor, things do cook evenly, the only thing of note is that the surface of a large pancake might have some spots that are slightly less dark than other spots. I've cooked everything from sunny side up eggs, pancakes, sausages, bacon, grilled sandwiches, tortillas, and more. I've been happy with everything that I have cooked with this. The grease tray is big enough to catch all of the rendered grease from a full 1.5 lb package of bacon (thinly sliced, so this covered the entire surface of the griddle) without spilling. ... show more

Cooks up to 9 four inch pancakes or 9 toasted cheese sandwiches at the same time! Great for family weekend breakfast, etc. Great quality, and love the tilt feature!

I have had many griddles, but this one has been the best. The size is large enough to make many pancakes at once. Works great for meats, hash browns, anything you need for a large group. I like the consistency of the heat distribution also. Great non stick coating. Light weight and easy to clean

Happy to be able to fry a pound of bacon at one time. Nice big cooking surface. Does not get hot enough underneath to effect my butcher block counter. Always a plus. Tilt is a nice feature, just remember to put back to flat afterwards. Cleaning is easy but cumbersome. Easy to store. Only negative is it does have uneven heating. Especially in the center. Not surprise because they all do. Takes some getting used to but would definitely recommend. ... show more

This griddle is great! the non-stick coating makes it so easy to cook and clean up, we love it for cooking breakfast and it works really well for draining the bacon grease right off and the drip tray is also really easy to clean up as well. Great value and hopefully the Presto griddle lasts us another 11 years like out last one. ... show more

    • Nice large griddle
We have been searching for a nice electric griddle with a large surface area. This one has lots of space (9+ pieces of French toast at once). Overall, we are happy with the purchase for the price. The one drawback is that it doesn’t heat well in the middle. Now that we know, it’s easy enough to rotate the food from that spot. ... show more
